Its best just to untick everything, 9/10 anything there you won't need. Anything you do feel the need to have on start up, set it up manually.

start > run > msconfig > start up > untick everything. Use CCleaner to fix any registry errors/remove all the s**t. Download Smart Defrag and run that (just cause you can.) Reinstall firefox/IE and other media players etc.

I recently purchased one of Western Digitals Caviar Black HDD's. 32mb Cache, 640Gb etc etc. It's their 'performance' drive. I'm impressed, boot up times are great - W7 loads in no time at all.

Theres not really much difference in those CPUs. What mobo are you running? You could easily overclock the E4300 to 3.2Ghz+.

You don't have to reinstall everything, as there is nothing to install. Games can just be copied to another partition (Like steam etc). All drivers are found and installed by windows automatically. Its really too easy this Windows 7 stuff.

Well its probably ideal, you should back everything up anyway.

Takes about 20 - 30 minutes to install/update. Everything will be backed up into a folder called windows.old

Played it for a couple of hours :/ Bit repetitive. Just seem to be beating up creatures and stunning them.
