To be fair the MBP has a better CPU there. But it's not even an i7/i5 core? Core 2 Duo is old hat now. As for x2 Athlon, well... thats even older.

Ask yourself if you want to spunk £1K+ on a MBP? Yea, they look good. However, the new Windows 7 is easily as good as OSX and you can pick up a better specced laptop for the money.

Router + Wireless? I actually have no idea. *edit* Should be able to have a router, and both go into that via ethernet/wireless and play each other. It's what we have done in halls with xbox/ps3. 1 Person has a wireless router set up in their room (ethernet from uni connection into router)...

When windows 7 goes into hibernation (set at an hour) it seems to log windows live out... then doesn't let me log in? I open up task manager and it appears its already running and showing so i have to then end both of them, and sign in again. Any idea?

Look for av.exe in the task manager, i think thats what it should be under.

Probably doesn't do alot, apart from anoy you. If its not letting you open up anything you could kill it in task manager first! Then just search the registry and delete it.
