ooo thats interesting i havnt checked the level cos iirc you have to take the plug out and fill it up dont you? so would you say the gear selector is ok and possibly get the clutch done? do you think thats the problem? cheers mate

does anybody know if its possible to change the mk2 ph1 boot lock and exterior handle for the newer mk2 ph2 one? i think it may be bigger on the mk2 ph2 :S

no clunk as such, its mainly 2nd gear thats difficult to select but all the gears have a slight difficulty sometimes when putting it in gear. the clutch isnt slipping either. does seem pretty high on the bite though. i do also know that where the gear selector goes into the bottom of the box the...

giles, how easy was your engine cover to fit? i assumed i'd need the little upstands on the plenum to make the cover clip onto mine and as my plenum doesnt have the upstands i havnt bothered getting the cover. did yours have the little upstands of plastic for the cover to clip onto?

well my norm is around 38/39 but at the moment its saying 43.8??? dont believe it though tbh. when i filled up the other day and tripped it the "fuel left" part was going mad jumping from 800 miles down to 380 miles and then finally it settled down, crazy computer!

you wont get any noise from a panel filter mate, if you just want noise get a k&n or summit like that, i have one on my 1.6 and its loud ;)

really like that, as said dont like the design of the wheels that much, some better designed wheels and stay at 19", very aggressive!
