i assume detach both ends and draw through bulkhead with the other one attached then reconnect?
any ideas on price from stealers?
ok guys i want to buy the strut covers from hillpower, have emailed them twice and had no response.
does anyone know the price of them and also how to order them?
cheers
what do you mean check the mounts?
and do you mean £375 is a bit steep?
and the gear selector is deffo adjustable? i cant believe they told me it wasnt, and they are ex renault stealers!!
t***s lol
yeah pretty much its not going into gear, it feels like something is in the way rather than it crunching etc and being the gearbox if ya get me.
did a quick search on the forum and it seems like mr clutch might be a good place to get it done
i have just rang my local renault garage (it used to be renault franchised now they are just renault independant specialists) i need a new clutch so i got 2 quotes.
clutch supplied by me, but they fit it inclusive of VAT came to £375
clutch supplied by them and all fitted etc £500
now my...
cheers for the info, spacers make it handle any differently?
i was purely gonna do it for aesthetics because they sit too far in the arch imo.
would i be able to keep my original bolts for the wheels or would i have to get spacers?
cheers
;)
giles is that lowered the same in both pics?
i must admit i think thats just made my mind up too lol
i think i may buy some spacers for mine so they sit better with the arch
i see your point now, the f1's are 15" right? it dont look that low to me at all. i was thinkin of gettin coilovers when i first got her then decided to just get springs at the mo, think it will have to be coillies eventually though!
^^^^^^
doh dont say that im tryin to decide whether i want them or not lol
why do people like the wheels? i truely cant decide if i love em or hate em! like marmite
why ph2?
60mm is gonna hurt i can only just about get about at the mo, if i go to 16" wheels from 14" i guess it will sit a little higher though wont it?
yep :)
craig, its lowered -40mm on apex and its hard enough lol
i agree with you i want it subtle, just taking my time to go over ideas etc.
what you think about the white wheels? :S :D
just the 16v, love it to bits though, i came from a 1.2 8v mk2 ph1, to a clio 1.8 16v with a bent chassis :(, to a 406 :(, to this so im really lovin her at the moment :)
im not sure about the wheels, i'd like some bigger ones but i cant decide?? ideas?? i was thinking 16" 5 spoke sport alloys...
loud lol, its ok, gets quite a bit of heat soak, but in this weather it loves it ;), gonna try and shield it somehow before the summer again, maybe silicone elbows and alu tubes connected.
