no should be fine, but obviously an m.o.t problem, but yeah it drives fine, its just the full lock turning that you hear the noise, i got mine on the drivers side lol
it might be your front suspension, mine is doing it now and both suspension springs have sheared at the bottom, it will be fine , but it is ok on my car aswell but when i full lock, it sounds like a creak but it is quite loud lol, just ordered my self the set around 80 quid and was told about 2...
i had the abs light, service light and traction control light on just recently pop up twice, when i got the car diagnosed it came up with a fault behind the brake pedal, its a sensor i cant remember the name, i havent replaced and sorted the problem yet but i believe the sensor to be around 30...
hello people i came home from work yesterday and i thought i would hoover me car out, now as i removed my car mats i felt the carpet was soaked, it was damp around the foot pedals, soaking wet under me seat, and slightly damp under the passenger side. now i have noticed abit of a funky smell in...

trust me i know what you mean mate, i have had 2 clios in the last 3 years and that clutch is heavy and stiff, but obviously you get used to it. when i had my car worked on i got a lexus ls 250 and the clutch was as light as a feather, when i got back into the clio it was bloody heavy but i got...
go for trade mate, i just purchased a 182 from a trader and as soon as i got home the alternator went, it only got 24k on the clock, but i didnt have to pay out for the new part as its covered through the trade warranty. so it might be worth spending that little bit more just to play it safe
well im 19 3 years no claims with elephant and im paying £1600 based on a 10 month policy, called a bonus accelarator. and my excess and voluntary comes to £1000 lol s##t i know.
see im fussy i wouldnt of gone with it, but i love to see people like you who see beyond the trouble and having the advantage of being ble to do most of the problems yourself. it will probably turn out more reliable than my 182 lol. well done mate looking good so far
Hey fella welcome, im new to the game as well just went from a 1400Cc clio to a 182 and yes they are nippy to so well handled round corners. Anyway where abouts you from, as i wanted to do a clio meet.
change of plan for an exhaust im going to look at a simota carbon air box as it sounds perfect have a look on youtube and theres a video on there featuing a blue 182 clio
i was reccommended the milltek exhaust system as well but when on youtube i wondered if it was too loud, so im confused lol well im still looking into it, so if you do happen to make a choice let us know lol :)
hello mate, im in the same dilemma at the moment i cant decide which exhaust to buy, i only found out yesterday about the k-tec exhaust with the silencer, and people say it was nice, and then when i posted a thread someone said the milltek would suit me as i wanted a little rumble at low revs...
Re: which exhaust for a clio 182?????????????????
brilliant thanks for that, have they dyno tested the milltek exhausts, to see if there is any loss in power, i know its a silly question being a track racing exhaust, but isit an exhaust that boosts the noise levels buts loses a little power, or...
hey guys, quick question, im after an exhaust for my clio, now im after one thats just sounds nice at low revs and that doesnt sound tooo boy racey, i would like a rumble but nothing silly as i do motorway miles and i like it to be a bit peaceful. what would you reccommend for me.
i read that...
about 300 quid just for the belt, but about 500 for the belt and tensioners, little things to look out for such as the drip tray is still under the engine, original seats are in the back they should be sweade and leather. and make sure the head light washers work, as they are common to block and...
