but does sit a little too high for my liking, so einbachs maybe in the pipeline...
can people (who can be arsed and who have just replaced old with new) please post what speakers they have in their cars?

nice unit mate, shame its only got 128mb memory, if it was upgradable or at least 512mb i definatly be interested.
if its still at a reasonable price nearer the end of the aution id proabably be interested.
any chance of an actual picture so i can see the condition?
tryin to point sommit out tom? lol
if your lookin for a NEW hot hatch which is sub 7 seconds and under 12k then there are NO rivals as far as i can see....
i think the golf gti must be only car that gets worse every time its re-incarnated...
and how many bloody versions of the mk4 gti do ya need!!!
lets hope the mk5 gti is an improvement...
mines an import (not sure of the country of origin though) but its in miles and gallons...
one thing i have noticed it that its VERY twitchy on roundabouts and country roads compared to my astra...
cant wait tills it proper worn in, so i can give some REAL welly. :devilish:
its finally here, ive got it!!!!!
all is fine so far, except i cant get the current mpg to appear, i can get average and it says in the manual is does current, but my menu misses it out...
any ideas...
one final thing....
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

or is change the tweeters real arse of a job?
I was gonna upgrade the standard system to:
1x http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3130&osCsid=f3b866cde9d9d10cf9674f9870d73dd7Alpine CDE-9827RR Headunit for £165
2x...
picking up my 182 on saturday, rang directline today to change my insurance over, they said id be covered but wont get any cover note or such till monday...
although the theiving bar stewards want £163 a month for my astra coupe to be stuck in the garage coz i aint sold it yet... even though...
FAR too much power for the chassis, my dad used to have one back in 1995, he reckoned it would be lethal in inexperienced hands... apparently VERY difficult to keep in a straight line under power on wet/uneven roads...
i had a 205 gti at 19, then a 306 gti-6 at 21 then a astra turbo at 23....
i think if i had the turbo at 19 i wunt be here today...
imo just build up slowly, so ya have somewhere to go if ya more more more....
it will still be expensive, finance companys a robbing bar stewards imo
i still owed 11.5k after 12 months on my astra but the settlement figure was 13k, damn thing is STILL for sale at 10k
NEVER using finance again...
reet i know now. my dad reckons its a way of getting money out of south africa (which is illegal) they give you 20k for you car, you give their "shipping" coompany the car and 10k back, they then have 10k adn a 10k car (which they sell on in the uk) in this country
