a girl i work with had a mini one, it returned to garage so many times she wrote a letter and they swapped it for a new cooper 12 month after she originally purchased hter mini one!
25, 8yrs NCB, 3pts, Driveway, £900
but due for renewal in october and if its anymore that £700, directline can go and poke big long things where to sun dont shine!
timed mine at last week...
just me, barely any fuel and 1600 miles on the clock! and the hightech timing equipment of my mobile phone.
1. 0-60 5.88 (a little generous with the start-stop clicking)
2. 0-60 6.69, 0-90 13.48 (much more realistic with the start-stop)
3. 0-60 6.48 with esp...
i thought the idea of buying a car now is coz you want it now, not in 12 months time.
if you want it now i suppose ya have to pay, but can still haggle a little...
yup, all he could sell me was a 182 alloy for £98 but with NO tyre which would still take a week for delivery!
looks like no car for me this weekend! :(
ringing round garages to try and get a spare wheel for my car, and you wouldnt beleive the number of people who dont even know what the cup pack is let alone if other clio wheels will fit a 182!
and this guy says he cant sell me a steel wheel from another clio, only the alloy...
all i want...
i could do with a spare wheel ASAP for a 182 seeing as i cant get a damn tyre till wednesday/thursday...
any chance of getton 1 to me this afternoon? ;)
done that now, cancelled tother...still no car till wednesday though!

UPDATE: i ordered a tyre yesterday for £139 fitted, left a tenner deposit.
should have been here today.............
just got a phone call, 2 more days AT LEAST!!!
rang round 3 local renault dealers, NONE in stock anywhere!!!!
ARGH!!!!! NO FRIGGIN CAR TILL MONDAY NOW!!! :@
i wouldnt bother carrying the spare around, just us the foam to get ya home, much quicker and easeir and saves u messing around at the time...
keep the spare in the garage and change when ya get home...
i think mine does the same i think, always has done...
when turning into a sharp corner at about 15mph and road is a little bumpy it does knock... espcially if ive just braked hard and the nose is down...
im in the same situation cept my missus is only 21, so shell need a least a years experience before even I let her near my car, never mind the insurance company.
ok then, where do i get a spare wheel from?
this is my 1st ever puncture in 8 years of driving and ya just know that when i buy a spare i will never get a puncture (in this car) again.
thats the problem with no spare wheel, ya cant really afford to be f**kin around lookin for the cheapest price, i just need a damn tyre without a hole in it...
anyway, where do i get new tyre foam stuff? :)
Bloody big screw in the side wall, £140 for a new tyre coz no c**t stocks em and a day with no car!
NOT A HAPPY CHAPPY
Where do i buy replacement cans of it and how much is it?
cheers
done 1600 miles so far, use optimax only,
I run it till the light comes on and reset every fill up
usually averages between 26 and 27 mpg...which aint great but better then the 23 i used to get in my astra...
