If the tyres burst id check that the alloys werent buckled by the force of impact against them. My cup was hit head on by some moron so i know how u feel m8. Good luck with the repairs.

Found a vid on streetfire of the renault f1 car playing god save the queen. I've heard it before and many of you probably have but its prob worthy of a repost! Listen to how quickly it revs and how high the rpms get! I'll have one to put in my clio.... lol...

I'd only go for the 255 V6 or maybe something different and even more impractical like an s2 elise.... 350Z is also in the mix. Had a go in the original non-cupped 225 meg and wasnt immpressed with the power particularly or handling for a car of that value. Had a shot of the new toyota...

I've been driven by a guy in an anniversary type r civic and I have a 172 cup. It didnt feel as raw and the power delivery was smoother which is probably due to the extra 200kg it pulls around. But I have no doubt that 100 mph + it would pull better when weight is less of an issue and engine...

Latest happenings.... I get my car back 2moro hopefully (wed), havent been given a time yet but they said it will be after the quality control check and valeting etc.... I'm excited and nervous at the same time, I cant wait to feel the performance again after being used to driving the 1.6...

Doubt it if its a renaultsport model you have. Parts are more expensive. E.g spark plugs.

Just to give you guys a bit of an update..... My car is at allied car repairers at the moment, and its going to cost around 2k to fix.... Whole new front end, bumper, bonnet, grilles, wing, air filter, lights, radiator, light motors..... And the front chassis arms are bent but the guy said on...

A 1.6 megane coupe/ cabriolet! ;) Not bad for a hire car and the roof is quite cool... Still feel a bit of a t@sser driving it though... But it is so relaxing to drive compared to my cup even though it doesnt accelerate anywhere near as fast!

Hes just denying liability... Which i find comical as he was the one that lost it, hit me head on and on my side of the road! He said that he was away on holiday as well just after the accident which is very helpful!

And its turning out that the claim is anything but hastle free... His insurance company has not accepted liability for the accident. So its just as well I have an accident report...

Yeah Ive got some, ill try and post them up. Its not as bad as I thought. A bit of a crumpled bonnet, pushed in bumper, cracked lights, damaged radiator, and door that I think is clashing off the wing.

Cadence braking is all well and good but when you have a two ton car heading straight for you that sort of goes out the window. Even with abs I would have hit him. There was literally no time to get the car slowed down enough to stop. Im allowed to "insist" for a police report if I want to...

What width of tyres have u got there? And are they std cup wheels in terms of offset? Very nice.... I wish mine was as low as that

The guy near me took a wet roundabout too fast I think and ripped one side of the car clean off... Its really expensive to repair if you damage the bodykit. I think his was a write off. Enjoy it though, im so jealous!

They also might be able to push a rod though the support and get to the dent. Good luck anyway...

At least it was your numberplate and not your radiator! And Im sure someone like chipsaway will take the dent out and respray that bit of the bonnet. Just need to be careful that there isnt a strengthening bar under the dent and that the colour match is perfect. Bad luck but at least you...

Nah I thought the humiliation was bad enough.... And the fact that it was a 2week old car he was driving! The insurance have been on to me this morning and the repair garage is going to pick the car up so we will have to wait and see what they say. Still cant believe it actually happened..
