Serious question here.....My car is insured fully comp and when at home its kept in my locked garage, my insurance company knows this.Although 5 days of the week its parked on the street outside my girlfriends overnight.If it gets stolen here, will i still get paid out??

But cup shocks have 60mm between the two bottom bolt holes while a normal 172 is 54 mm

Have you pulled the white multiplug apart and checked for corrosion??
Swap the black relays around?
Checked the earth strap on the gearbox is tight and not broken??
Clip machine will relieve you of £70 and tell u that u have a wiring fault
Check to loom again, some wires are that thin and tiny that the break is hard to spot.
Eventually i found a thin white wire that looked a bit squished, looked at it more closely and it had green powder on it (this is from corrosion of the copper wire inside) cleaned it up and sure enough there...
Your looking in the wrong place, the break in a wire will be from the white multiplug to the ecu.
Take out the airbox, battery and ecu case, then disconnect the plug from the ecu and pull all the black plastic sheath off the wiring and check every wire, taking special attention to the white and...
