Hi.
The ph1 172 (which you have) does have a speed drive yes.
You're 100% correct in that is what you need to change, the part is about £30 or so, and is a push fit.
You need to clip the metal heat shield off, the just pull up.
Hope that helps.
I await the 27 teaser pictures of blobs of mud before we see the actual car with dirt on it.

My five will be gone as soon as the next handset is out, I think now I'm totally out of contract whilst owning one (previously I've always paid off a few months at the end with the money from the sale of the phone) I should be able to continue just buying handsets outright from this point...
Well I can divulge how cheap I've managed to get my upgrade now it's all done and dusted. Before I didn't have the figures.

Sold phone as mint, boxed etc
Purchased iPhone 5 off of someone I know off of here

Old farm avenue? Like 5 minutes from me. Dan who? Sidcup's a small-ish palce.
I will actually take you up on that offer (like really), I'll PM you soon as long as that's actually OK.
I used to love these games sooo much, the original mech warrior was a proper favourite.
Shame I haven't got a machine to get this running on :( No chance on my 13" MBP.
That looks bloody fantastic, such an awesome looking car and the exhaust finises it off nicely. Agree on the grilles though.
I love the fact it's a proper enthusiasts motor, the sort of car I'll rubber neck at whilst the mrs says "that looks weird".
