Personally, i wouldn't touch a brand new car by modification. Especially not on the strength of the manager 'saying' he would turn a blind eye to it :-/

So you're basically going to modify a car to 240bhp when you've just said you don't like the gearbox? I can just picture the service managers face when he plugs in your 18k pride and joy to find he can and will void the warranty at the drop of an injector.
