I think private plates is down to the owner, i ave a private plate and everyone else thinks it cr*p but i like it, and the end of the day its your car, your money.
Hello caput, i'm based in ashford.
Looks like you've got the 182, they came in different specs, 182, 182 with cup packs and 182 cup, and the trophy which is only in red.
The 182 with cup packs and the cup came with darker wheels, suspension upgrade, spoiler and splitter.
Lovely colour though.
I am looking at the ktec coilovers, but there aftersale isnt the best, just wasnt that organised, but cant fault them for the work they done on the 182.
Thankyou for the write up, just what i've been waiting for, been wanting coilovers for ages, but not been much choice. Its gonna be a toss up between h&r's, konis and eibach springs and ktec coilovers.
Will the ktec coilovers go lower, ie adjustable.
I think from what i've heard its about £40 for a set of turini centre caps.
I've got Toyos on mine and hate them, but michelin pe2, yoko and hanook rs2 are very good.
No the trophys are 16, am in the same position as you mate, i have the turinis in the 35 offset. Want to lower the car but think i will run into problems, so either i stick with the 182 alloys and lower it, or purchase some trophy turinis and lower it. Also the trophy have the right offset but...
problem is that the speedline only do turinis in 35 and 40 et, the 182 is 45 et.
The only way of getting the 45 et turinis is from the clio trophy, so either renault if they still do them or second hand.
Depends if your clio is a cup/cup packs or a normal 182. If a 182 without cup packs then you have a much larger choice, if a cup/cup packs then pretty much H&R's, GAZ and AST...
It to do with the difference in size of the wheels hubs i believe.
If using for fast road/track then i would go for the KW's. Having adjustable damping and ride height means you will able to adjust the settings for road and track to you liking.
Do a search on here as well because i think some people are running kW and HR's on their 197, so get a view on both...
Today, about 11 ish,172 Cup, had a play upto the m25, looks very clean but not keen on the side stickers. Spotted a ly r26 on the m25 with a private plate, love those cars.
Hello
Am after a set of renault diamonds centre caps for my turinis, after the speedline centre cap fell off.
Do anyone know the part number and was told by a trophy owner that they wouldnt fit but am not convinced by that...
I have a set of Toyp px4 and i hate them, got them with my turinis and have to say they are the worse tyre i've ever had. And even worse is that I can't seem to wear the treads down lol.
Hanook RS2 next or back to michelin PE2.
