It shouldn't devalue the car at all. At the end of the day, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some may be willing to pay that little bit more for the car with those wheels come sale time, some less.
I'm ideally after a Simota but a BMC CDA is fine compromise from what I've researched. I just wanted to see a few pics of them in your engine bays along with the best place to buy one and exactly what fitment I'll need. All of the sites I've googled seem to say something different than the last :S
I just wanted to check that before I go ahead and purchase one of these, it's going to be correct for my PH2 172?

I think you may have driven past me over the bank holiday weekend!? I was on the Isle waiting at some trafic lights by a Texaco (?) and a car of your colour boomed past me going the other way?
Sorry to hear about the H&Rs though. My advice would be to remove them if you've had nothing but...
Mussing them? How do you mean? I assumed from looking that those two back bits were just part of the mould of the front bumper? One of mine has been painted for some reason and the other is how it should be...
If the MK3 is anything like the MK2 then yes, it's a tight squeeze but no, there shouldn't be a need to get a garage to do it. How will you know that the mechanic will have maller hands, for one thing!?
Have you actually tried to wiggle the bulb out yet?
