I just feel like a bit of a w***e tonight and rather excited about the Simota I've got coming on Saturday ;)
Mark P - what's your budget like if you don't mind me asking?
Ahhh, I see :) Thanks.
It's a sure fire winner though as subtle enough to slip past a passing policeman and stylish enough to compliment the front end. 3/4 plates are all well and good but surely it can't be worth the 'oo err' feeling everytime you pass an oncoming police car?
I picked my 172 up for £3,950. It's a Y reg so one of the first off the line but only 52,000 miles which is a hell of a lot better than the 4k you'd be spending on a 60k+ 172. The only thing which I have discovered that needs changing are the front brakes and pads.

That cloth is brilliant! Nice one :)
Question: on the cold feed bend from the induction kit to the engine, there is a smaller tube coming from its elbow. What is this, where does it go, and how would one go about removing the existing one to be replaced by a Samco one?
Cardif is a fair old trek... still interested in seeing the pictures though :)
Can someone confirm if this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/induction-kit_W0QQitemZ290255853291QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item290255853291&_trkparms=72%3A985%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 will fit my...
