pci is faster than USB aye!
and generally wired networking is better and more reliable than wireless!
if one of your pc's is in the same room as the router, may as well have than one wired :) saves buying another card too
your router should have a network port or 5 in the back :)
also if you have SP2 firewall on, ensure file and print sharing is ticked in the 'exceptions' tab!!
also a lot of ISP's only allow a certain amount of connections though your connection and torrents use hundreds!
in your torrent client preferences limit the max number of connections or try downloading one torrent at a time and see if it is any better!
i had the same prob ages back!
iv had a netgear wireles router for 2 years now (on 24/7) and not had an issue with it (touch wood)
i would defo choose pci over usb tho mate! and id personally have one of the pc's wired into the router (if you hadnt planned that anyway)
as said, all depends what 'monitoring' software they are using!
im contracted to look after IT here for antoher company, and my username has to be in the monitored list! shame its mis-spelled slightly! ;)
basicaly instead of having a single throttle body and an inlet manifold feeding all 4 cylinders, you have 4 individual throttle bodies feeding each cylinder independantly!
i will mate, i will lol
