Just got my mk2 V6 spoiler back from the sprayers and fitted it today. I had the very same problem - it catches on the roof edge and clips the aerial..bugger! Looks the daddy though!!
Pics to follow...
I had the very same problem on track @ Bedford Autodrome. It turned out that the pads were very low, but with all those cornering forces it could have been fluid levels too. Ive since had the pads changed and all seems ok...

Very nice, and available via K-TEC. But a bit steep at £140. Im gonna make my own, based on a very similar idea...
Maybe someone should speak to PGTI and get them to do a feature on Roamers car (Im sure they will) and then, in the article, throw down the gauntlet to LAD and anyone else, with a passing reference to LADs lame excuse for not coming down.
Obviously they have little faith in their own product...
Are you thinking of racing the car? Im not sure youd want the race setup on a road car - itd be way to hard and oversteery (if the Palmersport cars were anything to go by!!!)
Anyone remember this post, about a new inlet manifold?

Did anything ever come of it?
Well, Ive always found the box in my Mk2 172 fine, until the last Palmersport track day. It was getting more and more tricky to get it into gear at high revs and then, bang! I missed a gear and the clutch exploded! Nice!
Just got a price from Renault - £138 inc VAT but then about £400 to fit :(
However, even though mines an import, it is supposed to be covered by the warranty, according to my local garage. Whats the betting theyll pull the car apart only to discover its not covered!! *ggrrrrr*
I changed the oil in my Mk172 @ 1500 and 6000 and, in each case, used a Renault oil filter and Elf Silverstone fully synthetic oil (5W40 I think, and the oil the Cup racers use). Yes, its bloody expensive, but I get a decent discount on it, which helps. I figure its the lifeblood of the engine...
See my "172 handling transformed" post for details on a superb handling package for the 172.
There is also a post from tonykart re. a Dieppe sourced inlet manifold +8bhp
Finally, Roamer is pioneering a throttle body package.
All good stuff for 172 owners!
Weird, because I phoned Eibach UK a couple of months ago and they reckoned they could ship me (next day delivery) a set of Sportline springs for a 2002 Clio (inc 172) for around £130
