Awesome craig, hopefully you'll bring this to the meet on wednesday, might nab a go of it too as I fancy a new car soon
Also the low boost thing was said by pete, got me excited but now I'm on a come down lol. Still, a 225 engined 197 will look good in your fleet, especially in RB
Havent driven the car for a week due to the suspension going through the refund process with 519 and spax.
In the mean time I'm trying my best to source some original shocks and eibach sportlines. I plan on getting the eibachs customised and lowered a further 10mm on the rear and 12-15mm on...
Here you go

Tbh I've been trying to buy those wheels back since i sold them, can not get another set anywhere atm, however with my most recent talks with speedline it emerged there is to be a batch of white 16s produced...
Dont want to sound like a dick but sounds like they did you a favour.
IMO wind deflectors dont look right on clios and red dice dust caps.....:o well enough said
Still not very nice knowing some stranger has been attacking your car though :(
Corsa looked to be a well looked after example with some subtle changes. Hope you follow a similar guideline with the GT and it could be a very nice car by the finish.
However it is looking very clean at the moment so, nice purchase :)
Re: TORPHY 1 OWNER FSH
LOL at this thread.
apparently renault sunderland said it was in too bad of a state to even dare put on their forecourt, I went up to view it but it had already gone to auction, must of been an absolute bargain
Re: TORPHY 1 OWNER FSH
Problem is we all know what that car in the OP needs to get it sorted. IF it's you selling it or know the seller, then advise them that it needs belts, damper refurb and oil leak sorting from memory. Went to BCA where this must have been bought from
I love this project mike, really really like it. Car looks nice anyway, I'm sure after a machine polish and a few bits tidied up and it will be awesome.
If the light you're on about coming on had a box with a squiggle through it, chances are its the throttle body nackered, common fault these...
Re: AndyRG - Opps ive done it again!
Was just going to mention, I didnt see the car first I saw the boobs.
Seeing that paint in the light would say its the same colour as wilky's evo MR
I see where you're coming from regards the warning from the lorry driver/passenger etc.
Unfortunately all you'll get from the insurance is you were travelling too fast for the visibility you had of the road. As Giraffe says, you should really travel at a speed safe enough to stop, or expect...
So then as mentioned above, I spent some time (15 hours) a couple of weekends back getting the paint on the BG somewhere near where i want it.
Process was:
Rinse the car
Snow foam
clean shuts, window seals etc with APC whilst the foam was dwelling
Rinse Foam
Washed using zymol auto bathe
Iron...
Yeah I was gutted you couldnt get the pug bigger wings and front skirt on it.
Tuned it right up straight away, epic turbo lag on the bottom end of the pug, put the new 207s engine in it for the crack and it sounds absolutely insane, slides well too.
If you find the rear end to be twitchy with one of these fitted you must have the worst throttle control ever. If you're nice and smooth they're nothing but compliant, if you're mashing the accelerator like an on/off switch then ofcourse the weight transfer etc is going to come into play and...
Looks great, apart from those wheels, they look dated for some reason and dont suit the rest of the lines of the car.
Some lows and a nice set of BBS Ch's in silver would look great on it
