The 980X (although old) is one of the first steps onto the six-core ladder for the LGA 1333 socket. The £100 price tag is still worth it for the CPU alone.
Admittedly, the description is a bit off!
Great response Andy there - cheers!
It will be interesting to see how it pans out with the developers over the next several months and coming years. From my non-developer standpoint - I'm hoping that the majority of DX12 benefits can be achieved with a minimum amount of fuss. After all, the...
Haha - flashing from a different car might have got me a bit confused!
Just noticed - we're all old-timers on here - our accounts are over a decade old!
Sounds a bit like the Titan glitch in BF2142. In the early days, if the server allowed the Titan to be moved, there was a possibility of 'hiding' within the cargo on the rear deck.
It involved a bit of luck and skill, but you crouched into a corner and allowed the Titan to 'slide' underneath...
One of the reasons I've always tended to stick to the RPG-7. No locking-on bullshit - just plan your launch angle, allow for gravity and fire away. No alerting the enemy that you're trying to lock-on to them or allow them to deploy countermeasures. It was really rewarding to get the angle just...
With the recent release of Windows 10, much has been speculated about the potential of DirectX 12 that comes built into it. A lot has been said, but given its early days - not much is out there (yet) in terms of true performance stats and real-world gaming results.
One that is out there is the...
Did you nip back to your old place last night? Flashed a red 200 just as I turned down to Valley Mill. Looked crazily wide at the back - combine harvester spec! ;)
Good. That's the North Korean part of my mind winning through. EXECUTE HIM! :tongueout:
In all seriousness though - who picks up the tab? Naughty little dickhead walks away with trivial fine and yet causes ££££ worth of damage with little regard for what he's done. If it was my car that was...
DO NOT MAKE MY PISS BOIL!!! :rage::rage::rage:
Every single bloody penny for the repairs on ALL of the cars should be the very minimum to pay back. £30K cost? Tough. Assuming this s**t stain will actually get a job - he then needs to be paying a set amount, every month, to pay it off.
Does it...
I'm definitely not the first and probably won't be the last to do this - but I managed to get a set of Turinis for the 'ol 182. Thanks again to Tom (@punk_rallye ) for the sale.
Got them fitted on Monday and gave it a quick wash last night. Got a set of black wheel bolts due in the next...
Brilliant thread - with some cracking pictures! As others - definitely one place I'd love to go!
Money no object - my life would revolve and me and my better half, travelling the world in a series of road-trips.
Good on you.
The ex. and I used to have 182s - me with the black gold and her's the arctic blue. Then she upstaged me and went for an Iliad V6. Just a shame my wallet couldn't stretch the same! :)
Vehicles are Battlefield for me. It was was one of the key factors that distinguished it from the COD series, imo.
What they managed to get right for the majority of the series has been the rock/scissors/paper aspect of using vehicles. They can be a game changer for the team - or a total...
Not too sure about the score per minute. Comes across as being far too Rambo, rather than being a team player.
I think that could actually be my main issue with the later BF games. That jump in and help the team mentality seems to be a bit diluted these days - especially when the next unlock...
Piss poor for me - barely 1 for 1.
Long gone are the heady days of BF2142 where I managed a K/D of 9.72 in the tanks. It was in double figures at one point ;)

Such a waste for me this - and I don't know why. The premium add-on dropped in price for the PC for a while and I bought it then. Then I put about an hour or two into It after that. About 33 hours for me, according to this...

Just doesn't grab me like the earlier...
Maybe the Leeds & West Yorkshire lot can organise a go-slo cruise around the Holmfirth area as that seems to be where he 'frequents'.
I think he'd have a self-induced aneurysm with half-a-dozen Clios going 5mph in front of him.
The way that he kept commentating 'you're on camera...... see...
Normally I praise Draytek kit through and through - but even those have their limits. :)
One of the directors here has a super-thick wall - at least 3ft thick with what I assume is filled in with various debris and other bits, when it was built. Even the Draytek with it's three antennas cannot...
One of the things I used to love about the Scotia White on the Evo - pretty much the most generic, white-van-man colour going. No colour matching issues there. I bet you could have almost got away by painting it with a brush!
