I have a strange problem :eek: Cruise control does not work if I drive in 4th or 5th gear. Works perfectly if I switch to 3rd or 2nd, but as soon as I put it in 4th, It won't work again... The green light is ON but when I press the + or - or 0 buttons, nothing happens. Speed limiter works well...

Turned out to be a faulty airbag ECU. Replaced it and it's all good now. The ECU is located unter the middle console. It takes about 5mins to replace.

I have a problem I don't know how to fix... When I put on the ignition, the front wipers come on and stay on for about 2minutes and then they stop by themselves. If I push the stalk up and down, nothing changes... I have disconnected the front window rain sensor and still the same problem...

I see that this hasn't been sorted out yet? Well I have the same problem... Only in 5th gear when I accelerate, there comes the tiny whining noise (piiiiiiiii) and as soon as I put it to neutral, it goes away... And then I put it back into 5th and here it is again. What could this be?

As far as I know, all Clio RS ph2 models have ESP. They cost around 6000 euros (5000 GBP) =) I just updated my ECU with RSTuner yesterday and loaded performance map for my car... I then tested it in 3rd gear with a full tank and 2 persons in it (with the RSTuner Performance Analyzer) and this...

A little update after a while... We've done port-matching The difference And I got myself a RSTuner and am now waiting for fastchip to send me the unlock code so I can then load the performance map =)

Yes the door card needs to come off. But It's really not that hard. 5mins tops.

Just replaced and the door now opens as new! Satisfied! New vs old Part n. is 77 00 842 857 costs 31,09 EUR at Renault.

I tried that first thing when I read this topic but the door still made the same noise so I guess the check straps are worn out. Thats why I went to Renault and bought a new one.
