I'm afraid I did Feirny, I liked the look of a few so got a disc.
You're at Cadwell on the 3rd aren't you?
Not suree on the ARB, quite sure it's just the OE one though.
Well she made it to her first trackday of the year at Cadwell.
We had a great time even though it was freezing!
Next one booked already, Cadwell again on the 3rd of April.
Saw 3 at the weekend
White 200, went home on a trailer a little sorry for itself.
White 172, looked very clean and tidy
Arctic 182 with some dodgy chrome front grille jobbies.
It is most probably the resistor pack that controls the fans.
Have a search, it's easy to change, you've been in the right area when checking the plugs. Just not so cheap to get one though.
I have used standard Mintex stuff and found them fine, especially if they aren't going to see a track.
As for the discs, I would recommend GSF and buy their standard Brembo stuff, you can also get the Mintex pads there too.
Unless you are going to do a lot of track IMO they aren't worth it really.
I did mine, felt no difference to the handling but the car does get some track action so may have worn out the originals by now.....
If they aren't shagged don't change them, just wait until the are knackered.
Yes dude, chances are it will be the top mounts. Quite easy to change, have a search in the guides section.
I bought mine from GSF and got them for around £15 a side iirc.
Take the pipe out of the caliper and then slowly press the brake pedal. If you get fluid you know you have pressure and it's probably the caliper. If not, it's something else, lol.
Could be your track rods dude, could also be the wishbone bushes or top mounts.
Best thing to do is get it up on jacks and have a pull on everything, just to see if anything moves.
Nice work Chris, looks great.
You need to book a trackday so you have deadline for getting it finished ;)
I could send you a link to one if you fancy ;)
