If I was to choose between them 2 wheels, I would lean more towards the Superleggras. I think both seem to be fairly popular on the latest shape clio, if search the forum for them you will probably find some pictures of black Clios with them on. I have seen a black Clio with 17" Superleggras...
I have a black Authentique. Up to now have fitted 16" 172 wheels. Hopefully lowing in the New Year, and smoked repeaters. Then trying to scrape up enough dosh to get it colour coded.
I quite like the subtle mods (especially as mine is a 1.2 8V, dont want it to look like a suped up sport...
I ordered 4 Proxes T1s for standard 172 rims (195/45/16) from http://www.mytyres.co.ukhttp://www.mytyres.co.uk recently (£167.20, with free delivery). I shopped around and this site was about as cheap as I could find. I took delivery for them in less than a week. Fitting a balancing cost me...

I have Mk2 172 wheels on a 2002 1.2, the n/s back wheel rubs slightly when cornering hard. What size spacers would sort this out, will 5mm be enough, and will I have to get longer wheel bolts to fit them?
My 2002 (Dec) Clio has locks on both doors, but a mate with a 2003 Clio (about a month newer) has only a left door lock, was this to save Renault money on locks, cant imagine that there are any weight or performance gains.
Found the site with a google search when I was looking for answers to my Clio related questions, I think I see at least 20 Clios per day and have never seen a Cliosport sticker in any of them.
Just fitted Mk2 172 alloys on my 1.2 Authentique (52 plate). I had light scuffing on nearside back wheelarch when cornering hard, I cut a peice out of the plastic wheelarch lining so sort this.
The problem now is that I would like to lower it a bit (around 30mm). Does anyone know if I...
