Most folk who buy new cars chop in their old cars when getting their next new one. I'm pretty sure Trade in values won't be £1k out for recaros in 2/3 years. More important the older it gets - but of course by then the Clio Recaros would have fallen apart to nothing and you'll need to...

No - I didn't spec them because I don't see the point in spending £1k to remove two perfectly good seats and replace them with two slightly less good seats :cool:

I wouldn't buy a second hand CS with recaros - chances are it's been thrashed to within an inch of it's life because the driver thinks he's Ayrton Senna :rasp:;)

In Summary Coasting in a modern car cut's the fuel to the injector so ther'e no fuel saving. Errr - yes there is you're saving the fuel not being sent to the injectors :S That article must have been written by a lezza mentalist :D

I got my 200 for pretty much half the price I could have got a FRS for. I can live with the "lack" of power :cool:

I sat in A GT prior to ordering my 200 (to see if the Clio would take someone of my not inconsiderable girth) and from Memory the inside of the GT was a slightly better place to be than the 200 I ended up getting. Having said that - they were both pretty pish ;). But - just like I didn't...

Shutting the glovebox on the 200 is probably the biggest challenge the car has to offer - especially if you have more than 3 things in it !

ps fix the shorting wire before replacing the fuse or you'll be doing the same thing again !

This is when you discover Renault don't supply spare fuses either ! Did the same thing last week - only it was the Heater that blew when the Radio wires shorted :S. Renault electrics seem to be put together by retards wearing boxing gloves ! Halfords do a box of fuses (100) for approx...

Mine used to do that too - just turn it off. If you get really bored you can always turn it back on ;). Replaced the pap with a Sony HU last week. Upgraded the speakers too - more kak from Renault. It's a good job the car's a belter or I could get upset :)
