Went karting over the weekend to Mile End circuit next to Canary Wharf. Took the DSLR out to see if I could get the hang of the blurry background tecnhique.
After much faffing about I got this image. Still a long way to go, but I was mighty chuffed to have finally pulled it off.

Following on from another thread stating that trophy shocks are 1200+vat each or something. do you think once they are out of warranty, not many people are going to touch them with a barge pole?
I mean for the difference in handling, the 182 standard shockers are mahoosively cheaper, even a...
Right having just been appointed as area rep for London, I thought I may start with a biggy. I'm looking to hit Le Mans this year (15-16th June) an am thinking it would be awesome to go as CS convoy.
I have been looking into prices for entry, ferry, camping etc and have seen various deals...
Car wasnt really that dirty but gave it a once over using the two bucket method.
After that dried with MF towels, and then applied a layer of Collinites #476. The car previously had been clayed, srp'd, egp'd x2 before the winter.
Have to say I'm mightly impressed by the easy on / off...
Got my new xenon number plate light. Mad bright when you look at it square on! If anyone is interested I have one spare for sale for £6 posted.
It makes the rear end look that bit more up to date.
I dont speed through cameras so not worried about being easier to read, plus those...

Thanks
I have just got a new bike for my birthday and after 9 years away from MTB'ing I am looking forward to getting stuck right in again.
Does anyone know what is best to carry the bike on the roof. I had a look in halfords, but even the monkeys there cant tell me what I'd need. Dont want to get...
I picked up a badge to spray black but not sure how to remove the old one. Is it the same with most Renault bits? Stick a screwdriver underneath and then prise off, or is there more to it?
The new one I have has 3 pins on it. Will this go onto an 05 plate 182. Any help much appreciated.
Hadnt had a chance to put up any piccys of my carbon bonnet since fitting it so here goes.
Washed the whole car but light was dying so it came out whack, plus I was using my camera phone.
Car was prepped before winter, as per usual, clayed, SRP, EGP x 2 and a layer of Collinites 476 with a...
My 182 was looking quite ropey on the inside so picked up some auto glym hi foam interior car shampoo yesterday.
Didnt expect it to do much but was quite amazed with the results considering how easy it was to use.
I hoovered the mats and carpets first, then sprayed the foam on. Let it...
