Lol by I smell some excuses here mind ;) after the first run it shouldve been warm, but after the 2nd and 3rd attempt theres just no excuse, you got beaten by the old cup hehe, even with its weight disadvantage of my fat arse
Re: A few new additions to Trophy 147/500 - RS2 Fitted
By the sounds of it James was telling me for the time & money invested in it, it wont ever get sold, he's either keeping it or his 'action woman' of a girlfriend is getting it lol
Check the Timing like I told you before? It's certainly slower than it used to be since those belts were done IMO, going by the way mine left you, had it been 6 months previous yours would of easily kept with mine.
Thought as everything on this site tends to stay either OEM on their cars I thought I'd see what your favourite wheel is for the clio sport range as I'm bored.
At the moment I'm using my girlfriends 182 cup wheels and something inside me prefers them over turini's and every other RS factory...
Yeah It was clean but got disgusting again within about 3 days.
I still need to detail the paint surface and machine polish it, got a few other things to do like repaint the calipers silver when the new wheels go on, cant have those manky looking things lurking behind :)
Firmly agree, although 007 felt cursed it didnt half handle well, I prefer the steering feel of the 200 over the 1*2's and the turn in feels fantastic, I just cant get away with the gear ratio's and clunky feel of it, you just know its going to break
More pics of the car needed, looks awesome, not sure why the red in the bay though mate, looks a bit random considering the blue/black/carbon contrast running through the rest of the car
Not too dirty but pulled over on my way home from work to grab a few shots of the car.
Few changes:
Sunstrip :dead:
Temporary 182 cup wheels due to go back on the Dci
Black Cup spoiler
AAS 3" straight cut exhaust custom made and cut into the bumper using a 182 surround
Silver Diamonds...
Whenever I speak to fred Re: topmounts he always tells me if the standards were good enough for the trophy they're decent enough :) although yes I agree solid top mounts feel better.
I was really disapointed but at the time I'd changed the full suspension/tyre set up on my car and it felt...
Re: A few new additions to Trophy 147/500 - RS2 Fitted
Haha I'll just lock you in the boot of my fully trimmed luxury epic clio cup beast and steal the trophy :)
Just run the standard top mounts mate, I'm only running AST's as james twisted my arm to get the pure kit, I guess I'll never know how good that kit really was as when I had it fitted the front end of the car felt terrible in the bad weather, a combination of epic lows, crap tyres and tracking...
Re: A few new additions to Trophy 147/500 - RS2 Fitted
Will have to get a drive of this when I next see you james, the spec is something I'm very interested in for the future :)
Re: A few new additions to Trophy 147/500
Tbh mate the omp does absolutely nothing and personally I never ever noticed any difference in the pure motorsport kit on mine and never noticed any difference, james has it now and he said he hadnt noticed any significant difference either :(
