Is there much difference between the two? E.g which one is the loudest, which one has best performance/throttle response. I will be getting one de-silenced with de-cat but cant decide yet so please help!
Are the back tyres ok? I've had a rotten tyre on the back before but had plenty of tread and that nearly took me off the road. Check the side wall for any cracking.
Right found a set of tyres I am going to buy: BFGoodrich gForce Profiler 2
After looking all day at different tyres and reviews, these tyres have definately won at only £68 each off camskill. Has anyone else had any experience of these tyres?
Also this website is very useful for tyre reviews...
Right I'm looking at getting new tyres this week, I do really like Hankook S1 Evo's, but they are hard to get hold of atm for some reason :/ but I've noticed that uniroyal rainsport 2's have been brought up alot recently. How do they compare to Hankook if anyone has had both? Just wondering why...
It has officially been checked, I need a new cambelt and other engine parts :( £300 for parts and £250 labour (which is brilliant IMO)!! Oh well, hopefull it will feel like a brand new engine!
Decent condition 172's go for around £2k - £3k
Decent condition 182 will go for around £3k+
But you can find some that the owners dont know much about the car and will sell for the same price as a non-sport clio. Just got to look around and view alot of cars in person.
Such a shame but yes I will learn. Not sure how much it will cost :/ shouldn't be too much, had 3 people offering to do it on the cheap and one of them being a renault technician :) got someone looking at it today to see how much needs doing.
The lad I bought it off told me they had been done. But it was my own fault for not double checking. Selling my old car this week so will have to use the money from that, which was going to go towards cheaper insurance payed annually.
Got some bad news :( I think the beans cambelt has gone, she broke down on way to work, rac came out and he reckons it gone along with a load of pulleys :( got someone coming on Tuesday to have a proper look but now that's a few hundred down the drain!
