The Cup. AFAIK some people paid the FRRP for the Cup because Renault said it was a true limited edition.
They sold off the 172's cheap too when the 182 came out in early 2004.
The air con in my mums scenic is crap compared to my Dad's A3. Thats why I didn't pay £800 for the CC in the Cup.
Although I've never been in a 172/182 FF to comment. It's was crap in the Scenic so I just went by that when it came to ticking the list of options.

Wonder Wheels gets rid of most of the pitted stuff but its pretty letal stuff. Try some clay after you've done you're paint. Pity to waste the clay on the wheels.
I remember looking (dreamerly) at a second hand Williams in 1996 (when I started driving) and it was silly money! About £13k as far as I can remember.

A mate at works brother has a very early mk2 172. He recently had a "belt" service (not sure on the miles on the car) but shortly after his started produce black smoke and refusing to go anywhere (ECU light along with a couple of others)

My uncle has a Micra thats done 180,000 and has never ever missed a beat or needed a repair. Only routine servicing.
