Does anyone know if the interior trim has changed colour since the mk2 was released? I ask because I got hold of a steering wheel from an 04 mk2 172 and Im sure it looks black compared to my original one which is slightly blue - although it could be my imagination! Thanks in advance...

I think the clunk being described above is the mount underneath the battery - it needs tightening up.

Mike - They said they couldnt diagnose any problem because I had an IK fitted and the diagnostics were falling over at something not being connected - I think the vacuum powered flap that flips when its cold . BenR and Jays posts make sense to me. Im in the same position as you warranty wise...

Does this mean there is no flame red for the 182?

Cant be my ECU (at least not the ECU itself) as it happened on my standard ECU and my HP one!

Finally - someone who has had the same problem as me! Ive had this occur at least once with the rough running and on occasion with the wavy temp guage. Where is this coolant sensor if you are looking under the bonnet? :confused:

Behind the drivers headlight are two A/C pipes that are clipped together by a bracket that is bolted to the body of the car. Mine bracket was missing the bolt and when I twanged the pipes I got the same rattling sound I occasionally get from the front suspension (I thought?) when turning...

It might be because the fan cuts in and keeps the engine temperature in check...

I found it seemed to pull harder on Optimax - it says 98RON inside the filler flap.

Mine is leaking but it seems to be dripping from the pasenger headlamp washer until it reaches a certain level and then its fine.... Any idea if it is the same thing?

If I used the ATF would I still have to change it every 6 months or could I treat it as normal....

Do you think this swap will make any real difference?

If you pull the stalk back for a wash/wipe as you would flash someone with your high beam you get a single wipe with no wash.
