Thanks for all the advice chaps - I'll definitely look into the memory upgrade.
I know on my ex's MacBook years back - it was a night & day difference between 2GB and upping it to 4GB.
Cheers,
D.
Did you try the Sniper Elite 2 that was being given away free on Steam the other month? Put an hour into it last night for the first time - really quite enjoyable. I'll definitely play it through to the end. Proper stuff starts at around 2.30 on here...
Chaps,
Just wanted to run the following by you first. I'm fine doing this on PCs, but the Apple side is still a bit new to me!
First off, my sister-in-law has an i5 27" iMac. The local HDD is getting quite full and it comes with the preloaded version of OSX that it had when purchased - approx...
Yep - fixed my steering wheel shake issue at 50mph+
Best bet (if you can manage it) is to get the wheels off and wash the inside of the front alloys (or all of them, if you you've moved front to back previously) - with some warm water and washing up liquid. Fairy is brilliant at getting the CV...
Re: Rear dampners/shocks
Pretty sure the mounts are separate? Iirc, the bolt section of the top of the damper passes through and the locking nut screwed on top accordingly.
Been a while since I've done mine though.

Ideally, could the car be raised with the wheels off? Might be a little overkill for six months, but like you say - that would certainly negate any flat spots - especially if they were decent/newish tyres.
I'd personally not try to leave too much petrol in the tank. Hardly drain it, but just...
Sums it up. There are plenty of bands out there that I don't like. But offer a free album to download and I'll give it a try. Who knows, they might convert me into a fan. :)

Just checked my Punto Sporting and GT and that website. Looks like they both went to the scrapheap in the sky around 2008/2009. :(
Weirdly, I had a really vivid dream the other week about driving the GT again. How the steering wheel felt, where the gear-stick was, the dashboard - everything...

Good to see it's sorted!
I must admit, I'm a bit reluctant to try out a decent monitor. I'm used to my 27" Iiyama running at 59hz - but I know for sure that in seeing the output from a decent refresh rate would instantly mean a bashing of the credit card! :)
BTW - is it worth messing about...
The Ph.1 172 wheels are MUCH better than the 182 version. As GrahamS says - they have a tendency to 'melt' and look genuinely awful. Even if they don't, the thumb-grip rubbers perish and crumble.
A definite step-back from Renault there!

Lol - I literally wipe the dust off my monitor and feel the need to reformat! No way would I replace an entire mobo/CPU/memory trio and not reformat. :)
Though as you say, it could well be a mobo specific issue?

Good points!
I guess this genre has always nudged towards the more difficult side of turn-based RTS's - rather than being an easy and laid back game to play. Going way back to arguably the genre-starter of Laser Squad - progress has always been a challenge and I would actually say that the...
Re: XCOM : Enemy Unknown
So, after nearly two years - I finally finished the core game this week - and one that I thoroughly enjoyed.
As mentioned in another post (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?751925-Cheating-and-making-games-better) - hacking the money figure from the $200 or...
I share your pain m8. I had mine powder coated and far from it driving 's**t' - I do get a slight wobble coming through the steering column when I get north of 60mph. More irritating than anything and I've got mine booked in this Friday for rebalancing.
The silver side-pods are really only a...
