I'd say motor. Relay is built into the UCH iirc so unlikely to be that.
Have fun getting the wiper arm off the motor if its seized solid like most of them are!
If it hasnt had a track rod (inner and outer) replacment within the last couple of years, do that, It'll make it feel better even if it doesn't solve the issue you're experiencing.
Standard you can't hear any exhaust note, as per any Diesel, but now exhaust note is better than engine noise. And it really doesn't sound like a "tranny van", once on boost its just a whistle/humm really. See video of mine further up.
If its flowing better, the turbo can spool up quicker and...
Make it so the plugs on the car are a bit tighter on the pin on the light. Simply needs the plug on the car squeezing in a bit.
Other option is to solder a peice of wire to the bulb holder and onto the Clios earth wire.
Could also be worth cleaning the earth behind the rear panel trim.
What the f**k have you been smoking.
A decat makes a fair noticeable differance on a standard 65 DCi. I know, as I didn't expect it to make any differance and then noticed a huge differance. Noise changes too, as you'd expect considering its flowing much better.
@ModMySam is it straight...
Either the joints aren't good enough, or it has an issue elsewhere.
I'm an auto electrician too, with renault specific diagnostics, I'd happily take a look and most likely cure it if you covered fuel costs or came to me (Great Dunmow)
It really needs plugging into a diagnostic machine to identify which circuit/airbag is the issue.
As it could be the passenger or drivers side airbag too (drivers side goes through a rotary called a squib which could well be the cause) but would be pointless changing things over and over until...
Sorry didn't see this post.
Do you mean on the dash side? Behind the headlight adjuster panel next to the drivers knee. you can also find the clutch switch wiring next to the brake pedal switch.
Straight fit, might have to change the adjusters if they have a different plug, but thats easy as pie.
Best option is to get the 3M kit and restore them though, looks like new when done and all you need is a drill. Depending where you are somebody local might do it for a drink?
As above, boost is ECU controlled and monitored, so manually upping it will cause it to go into limp mode.
Injectors are the same between 65 and 80, 100 having different ones.
Remap on a 65 will give it 100bhp assuming it has a intercooler (and ideally decat) and be reliable.
Re: Cli0 1.2 sport 07 plate failed MOT Track rod ball joint excessive play - dangerou
Sounds roughly right.
Pattern part TRE is roughly a Tenner, rod is about £30 I think, hours labour @ 50/60, CV boot (assume that's what you meant?) is about £15, with another hours labour.
Its lots of work!
Firstly, need to check if your dash loom has the wiring, I can't remember which relay it is, but it will be easier to undo the bulkhead connector and look for the pins, if it has the pins, happy days, it'll be easy...ish.
Other things you'll need is the larger twin pump...
100ml to 20litres of diesel, you can back track it from that figure to work it out exactly for how much you're putting in.
Exactly how mine was, Annoying but now solved and I love cruise control.
Clio_Squeak Cheers bud :)
I never intended to do a sport rep, until I found the kit for sale cheaply, and couldn't help myself! Glad I did now, as while the Ph3 front wasn't bad, I much prefer the sport kit.
2 stroke oil is suppoed tooo... Reduce engine noise, improve MPG, reduce smoke etc...
Heres how mine is bodged.
Had a look at it today while I had the front bumper off, intercooler sits too low, but thats because I need the proper brackets etc, which I think will be impossible since my AC rad is part of the coolant rad. But Anyway, I bent the top pipe really carefully, as I have...
