Right, ive got myself an RS kit to go on my car as im making a replica. i reckon i can fit everything myself (which according to the bodyshop would save me £250). The only thing im not sure about is the side skirts.
Are they bolted on and bonded or just bolted?
Any pics would be appreciated...
You must've searched right the way through the spotted threads to see this!

Look forward to seeing it at some meets...

SRP - Super Resin Polish.
You will probably see people say SRP a lot on this forum. EGP is also used a lot, which is Extra Gloss Protection.
Both products are made by AutoGlym, very good stuff.
Ok, so not exactly pics of the whole car...
Did some colour coding at the weekend and the finish was really dull. Spent a couple hours with a polishing cloth and SRP, the result was quite surprising.
Errm neither this time! Im doing some extra work over summer there to get some savings for uni!
So lots of time to spot all the nice cars that go by! And a lot of Barry Boys in there corsas...
Ok, i dont know what has gone wrong.
I just finished colour coding my bump strips last night and they looked pretty good, however my door handles had a much better 'shine' to them. Looking at it this morning i decided to give the bump strips another coat of lacquer and now they have gone really...
If this is successful, im sure it will be the must have mod of 2008!
the amount of people with split/broken thumbgrips is amazing.
They look so good it could almost be like they came like that, or that they came out of a cupracer.
Must feel pretty nice to hold aswell.
Yea, ive had it all off today. The needles were off... done all that before (It went horribly wrong the first time i did it)
Just not sure how the sheet that displays the speed/revs/fuel/temp comes away from the unit?
Today i decided to start spraying my speedo surround but in the process of removing it, i managed to scratch up the Dials!
So they now need replacing.... how easy is this to do?
Can you buy the sheet and just swap them over or do you need to replace the whole unit?
Any help appreciated
Nick
Yea, i vaguely remember that!
To the people that are saying, just get a 182:
I know its the same thing everyone says, but insurance is way too much for me at my age.
I tried Adrian Flux and a couple others and was getting quotes in excess of £3500.
So im trying to make the best of it by...
Ok, heres the story.
A while back i boght myself a 182 rear bumper off eBay with the thought that i would eventually make a 182 replica.
With the bumper at home and fitted to the car i decided the best person to ring would be Charlie from prospeed. He agreed to make me a 182 replica exhaust...
Oooh, a spotting!
Yea the exhausts are alright, i was just on the way back from Charlie at Prospeed Exhausts in Cardiff when you saw me.
Getting it all re-done next month!
