Front engined rwd clio 350z, yes please. Lol
If Nissan/Renault can now share parts it would be nice to see them push the RS range on like the M series BMs and the S series Audis and release:
RS Laguna 3.5 RWD & 2L T Fwd
RS Megane 3.5 RWD & 2L T Fwd
RS Clio 3L RWD & 2L T Fwd (Front...
Look better on the road. Loving the interior now, dash looks good, big blue shift light that you cant really miss. Shame You wont get rear buckets though
Different Bonnet, spoiler, exhausts, lights, the fact its a 1.2, fill in the weird pointless rear arch scoops, peel off the stickers and actually paint it and it wouldnt be too bad.
Mike/Ian, this wasnt about which is better or which is quicker, it was a question about whether Renault should continue with the revisions they make on the current one or leave the car alone like Honda did.
Something to do with the amount of power eekd out of the engine? Theyve sacrificed a dodgy idle (which mine does too, but its just noise) for high output.
Rumour has it most things on the new car will be optional. Things like Climate, Xenons, leather & 1/2 leather & Alcantara would probably fall into that bracket.
And someone sat in the back seat telling you a trophy/williams is quicker, you should have bought japenese and itll have more rattles than an early learning centre
Who knows mate, the french didnt even get a sniff of the trophy. Just the Brits and the Swiss. The French and spanish all buy diesels and crash into each other
All im saying is that the one i drove had a smooth power delivery (it was still fast), just didnt have the Ph2 kick, maybe they had been stingy and been running it on 95.
Only driven 1 ph1 172 and my 172, and a few 182s. The ph1 didnt have the noticable surge the others have.
Isnt mike (badinvincable) trying to flog his? Drop him a PM and ask.
Also, i dont know how it worked, but some ph1s have an alloy bonnet, i dont know if this was a later revision or...
Good thing?
Should they revise them like Evos? Or should it be left as is like the CTR/LCRs with minimal revisions during the life of the model? E.g.
RSC-
Ph1 172
Ph1 172 Exclusive (Cosmetic)
Ph2 172
Ph2 172 Cup
Ph2 182
Ph2 182 cup
Ph2 182 Trophy
CTR
Pre & Post Face Lift
200bhp ish, but the extra weight of the car (200kg odd) means it will stay about the same speed as a 182.
Gains a 6spd box
Is this going to take 4 or 5 revisions like the current clio to find the perfect balance?
