ok cool. woulldnt be a point in doing coloured FG, as people can just paint it up their chosen colour. would come in black as standard i'd assume.
having briefly disucssed rear cages, weld-in would be the option availabe, purely due to bolt-in not being particularly safe
This isnt anything to do with Matt guys. If i choose to get him involved from a promotion point of view then i will, but otherwise, its all down to me
fog light duct idea does sound like a goodun. Carbon fibre or fibreglass/plastic?
Jimbo - thats been at the top of my list of ideas :) will get on something straight away
dave - i'm offended. I'm much better looking than Matt!
All ideas are being taken on board, with a view to releasing stuff in a month or so's time :)
Hi all,
As some will know i'm currently out of work. Rather than go down the route of finding a job i'll hate doing something i really wont enjoy, i've decided to do something a little different
So, my basic question is..............what sort of products or services do clio owners want to...
as i said yesterday, looks really good for a first time attempt. i need some wheels worthy of a refurb! Managed to take the paint off one of mine clipping a cone yesterday :(
tbh i reckon i could do better. gonna take some snaps at silverstone and mebbe start a mini motorsport portfolio and try and get some trackday work :)
si - it wasnt my time for sale, was a mates. i still did mine. I was in the silver ph1 with black wheels, so yeah possibly you i saw on the way...
nice pics indeed tim :)
i'll reiterate though, compared to the guys who do Bedford the photographer was atrocious, barely any pics in focus!!!!
same again soon methinks
a good and easily accessible location though i think, even if the food was a little pants. mebbe they'd do some sort of discount if we had a mass purchase?
its starting lol. but tbh it aint gonna be that controversial. getting a fucky custom sticker made up and the tow strap seems to be a bit marmite for some (love it persoanlly)
Gonna start pushing some new boudraries in the next few weeks though with stuff that hasnt been done before.
nah not specifically for track use no. although as said, properly set up they should do a half decent job. No idea on warranty sorry, but the gaz website should come up with something
these ones arent new as mine are 3 or so years old, but gaz have revised them in the not too distant past with...
Think those are the 2nd revision of the ones I have.
if so, then they're not half bad actually. massive range of height movement, and a lot of damping adjustment too. Just make sure you get them set up properly, as mine were supposed to have been, but in fact weren't, and so spent the first...
pretty sure thats about right for perspex panels, especially car specific ones
edited to say - a quick 2 mins on google turned up that plastics4performance do that kit for £275
if you're coming down the m3, its a few junctions before the m27 so yeah should be on your way. there's a tesco if you go right off the roundabout at the end of the sliproad. i'll be there from 10.30 :D
also PM'd you my number :)
Re: Eds ph1 172 - The soon to be controversial project!
nick - tow strap was £11 off ebay. TRS jobby, so good quality too :)
finally got a chance to push the 888s this eve, and didnt manage to get them to break traction. can carry a scary amount more corner speed!
Re: Eds ph1 172 - The soon to be controversial project!
Right,
so for the fruits of a days work!
day started by me and my mate Nick taking his focus RS up to X-Sport to have his coilovers setup and the car cornerweighted. Turns out that the whole setup was wayyyyyy to low, and weight...
Re: Eds ph1 172 - The soon to be controversial project!
been doing some 'ghetto' mods in the garden this afternoon (not sure how i'm gonna explain the paint patches to my housemates). pics to follow soon
