Fixing mine was as simple as disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. I had the same problem. Give this a try before you do anything else mate Good look

Yeah, but I fitted a new squib and 182 seats to my cup, tried resistors but the lights wont go off :-/

Do NOT do! I have done, tried to go back to standard and cant because of the airbag lights. From someone who has, dont, its not worth the ball ache

I have the same predicament atm mate. Ive stuck a resistor in the black one between the orange and pink wire and have just plugged the grey one in normally. My airbag and serv light are still on however

Ok so ive got some resistors and have attched them. But i have no idea if i have attached them in anything approaching the correct way. Heres some pics, top is passenger side. now i know i dont need 2 in each black thing i was just trying to eliminate the variables. please help :)

When you say sack the wires off, do you mean just unplug them and put the resistors in? Im a massive n00b when it comes to electrical stuff

Sorry to resurrect this again, but my airbag / serv light is on. Am i right in thinking it should NOT be for the 182 seats as the cup seats did not have airbags in the first place? Jonny

Ive had both (cat and decatted) yozza. The decat is metal! it used to resonate at 70, it felt like my eyeballs were going to melt. Cat on however its not too bad, pretty loud though. You just have to man up. I have a 172 race stealth system btw

This was not very clear. I have fitted 182 seats in my 172 cup. The only leads coming from that car are plugged into the seats so I assume the air bag light is not on for this reason? Also, does a cup have steering lock i.e. when parked? Because mine does not:S

Ok, so I snapped my airbag wires when I went to refit my standard steering wheel after having an aftermarket one. I then bought a new squib from Renparts with in tact airbag wires thinking this would turn my airbag and serv light off. (im assuming the squib works as other functions also work...

Heya! i live just off preston new road too, down lexton drive. Be good to see another RS, i dont see to many. I do see a silver 182 on the way up to preston every now and again though. Cheers for the comments fellas
