i think you might be confusing the 125 with the 250, it would have been a very different story against the 250.

new springs can take a while to settle. It could be that someone has rplaced your suspension with that off a metro, they get lower and lower over the years.

Mines done 64k too. the gear change is quite tricky and the stick moves when you come on and off the throttle in any gear. I have heard of 16v gearboxes going very early (usually on tuned engines) theyre not the strongest of boxes. Im not really an expert, but there must be a lot of experience...

I dont think it would make that much difference. Dont F1 teams use pure nitrogen cos its less reactive?

It would probably be as bad as the 206cc. Modern cars are not built to have the roof cut off. (Imagine a convertible car looking side on to it, and open the doors, what connects the back to the front?)
