greenlight wont insure under 21s and i think you need a years no claims. I waited til i was 21 and got insurance with direct line, only thing is they dont let under 25s mod :(

feel sorry for you mate, ive had it happen to me. I got chips away to do my bumpstrip, it cost £100 + VAT which wasent too bad, still got some more scratches though to do :-(

tbh your better off waiting til your 21. Unless youve got plenty of money for insurance, petrol and all that. If you cant afford the insurance, you cant afford the car!

you can get traders insurance, but i think the cars have to be lower than £5k in value for each one.

yep all the quotes for my first 172 service in the surrey area came up around the £200 mark.

Having had to wait a couple of years for my 172 in the end im glad i did. The experience I have gained in this time has taught me alot of things. Im 21 now and tbh mate if i was you i would buy a less powerful car, get some experience on the road then in a couple of years get something more...
