nope, 172 is a single din so it can just be replaced with any h/u. Once replaced the dash display is blank, but u can still see the time and temp.

oh well may have to invest in a A-Z map!

Im thinking of getting GPS in the car and wondering whats the best solution. PDA or all in one like the TomTom Go. Anyone one got either of these or could suggest some, im looking to spend about £200-250, less would be better. :D

Im 21 and am insured with direct line on the 172. Just got off the phone to them about putting a viper induction on the car and they told me i couldnt have any mods til im 25, even if the induction kit gave me NO power increase? Just wondered if anyone else has been told the same thing.

yep, i bought one from there the shelf was a perfect fit and the 6x9s sound pretty good too.

yeah i have two vibe subs with amps and they rattle the sh*t out of my car, im gonna need to get some sound proofing

yeah they are making a new clio but wont be out for a while. Do a search on the forums for the post. Not sure wot the next renaultsport clio will be but there is alot of speculation

For hiding your 6x9s, rather get one then cut up my parcel shelf. AutoAcoustics do them with 10% discount so ill probably get it from there.

Speaking of that, does anyone know where the hole in the bulkhead is as im planning to do mine next week.

i think they radio their collegues down the road who then pull you over. Mr172Mk1 they usually hang about around Ace of Spades roundabout doing the same thing

My kenwood MP3/CD player has just recently broke. Was thinking of getting a in dash TV/DVD system but dont think i can hook my more than 1 amp, so need a new cd player. Has anyone got any suggestions on a decent unit, i have about £250-£300 to spend?

yeah bout £8k they should be priced at, obivisously lower mileage and a bit better looked ater will cost a bit more. Do a quick search on autotrader and have a look what comes up.

Ive just bought the clio 172 off my old dear and thought i could be added on to her existing policy (Tesco) but apparantly i cant anymore because they have recently changed it so that you have to be over 21 :@. 2 months ago they gave us a quote of £1269. Ive been ringing around all day for...
