Thought I'd update this. The car was fine for a few days then did this again, cut power, then the EML came on. Diagnostics showed throttle pedal faulty and only giving 66% powerChanged the throttle pedal, it felt smoother until the day after, it did the same thing again, Electronic fault light...
The 182 FF is certainly a nice car, it has all the bits you could want from a renault sport.
If you're more into driving and enjoying what these cars were made for, then a trophy is the car for you, it may cost more, however it has everything you will want to do to your FF already fitted...
I completely agree mate, obviously you track your car and you want a good set-up for both road and track, with the billstein stuff you're pretty much guarenteed the best of all worlds.
However whenever you lower a coilover to an ammount which is quite low which a lot of people do, the chances...
Yes everything is as it should be, going to try getting some bigger bushes as I have a feeling the ones that are on aren't big enough, I'll have a look around and see what I can get
Cheers
Phil have you ever owned vmaxx? I appreciate they aren't going to set the world on fire in the handling department, they're certainly an improvement over standard. I generally use them if I just want some lows, as I don't do any track work I'm not bothered about how stiff they are for the track etc.
Offering this to North-East members onlyBasically remove all the fading from the top of your headlights and restore them to a great clear finish again. I've got plenty of pictures of my workI want £30 for a pair of headlights done, you bring the car to me, or I can come to you iff you have an...
Have a look at some of my old threads, I had 2110's on mine, painted them satin black and they looked awesome. I'd definitely have another set, they're really hard to get a hold of though
As Above, this came on this morning, cut the car out completely, as I was flat out at the time and running late it let me down. I actually thought the cambelt had gone, pulled over, fired it back up, drove it for a couple of mins, nailed it again and it did it again. After that it was ok. I will...
Hehe they won't be going anywhere mateThey're vmaxx coilovers, didn't want to splash out as I only want some lows, they handle 'OK' but nothing spectacular
lol well none of my other vmaxx kits have been like this, it feels unsafe when going flat round a corner, think I'll take it out on my dinner and have some fun, see if it continue's to do it, if I die blame vmaxx :)
It's nothing to do with anything but the rear suspension. I nailed it into a corner this morning and you can feel the rear squirming slightly, slightly un-easing even with the ARB connected up
did you have any knocking noises coming from yours?
I'm considering getting some larger bushes, similar to the standard ones so they will fit over the threads and still bolt up fine
My initial thoughts are the bushes are either crap, or I've assembled them incorrectly.
Wondering if anyone can help, recently purchased some vmaxx coilovers, only a couple months old and since I've fitted them I've been getting a banging noise from the rear when I go over bumps, I thought it could be the shocks bottoming out so I raised the car slightly, still the same.
Could it...
Decided having a compromise just wasn't for me, so the eibachs have sold and back to coilovers it is.
I've also fitted some black xenons from a normal 172 to smarten it up and make it less poverty spec
