Open a web browser and go to 192.168.100.1. This should bring up the modem's config page and you actually see what it is set to. I personally wouldn't trust web based speed testers at all.
To get the most from 10 meg you need the right equipment. You need a reasonably new modem with a 100mbps...
Clever little gadget, I got mine recording to my PC's hard drive accross the network. It's got a web interface so I can record stuff even when I'm not at home. You can do all sorts of stuff with it. Don't think you can buy them new anymore, they all seem to be refurbished. A couple of good...
Thanks Neil,
In the event of an accident, would I have to deal directly with the underwriter or would it be greenlight?
Would I be able to request a different underwriter if I wanted?
I've also just realised that my 1 year NCB from Elephant is their 10 month accelerated plan. Will this...
Should be easy with a session. Just set a session variable on your form page and then check on the process and exit page to see if it's been set. If not, redirect to the form page.
Using http_ref would also work, but you could conceivably spoof this info to get directly to the process or exit...
Do you think I might have trouble making a claim if something happened? That's a pity since as it seems like a good deal, but if it's going to potentially cause headaches then I guess it's not worth it.
Adrian Flux is over £1000 more expensive than elephant or greenlight, in fact I think it...
Right, got all my quotes in. Green Light and Elephant (who I'm currently with) come out about the same. The thing with green light though is that they will give me track day cover for any uk circuit at a flat rate of £50 a day (Castle Combe is free!). I'd like to get to more track days so this...
Isn't Tesco run by NTL? I'm having the same issues (NTL). Looks like DNS problems, manually specifying a different DNS server should fix it. If I wasn't so lazy I'd try it myself.
I think it was me but my sticker is on the back window, not passenger window? Going to uni after work :( I do recall a green tigra! Nasty traffic there wasn't it?
Not possible using only asp I think. You would need some sort of client side software to obtain this info, maybe an activex/java app? I puzzled a similar problem with php a while back.
twas mine  My maw borrowed it as her 406 isn't taxed right now. She better have left plenty of space either side when she parked!! She remarked on how fast it was when she drive it back along the boulevard :S
I drove a 106 1.1 before I got a 1.2 16v Clio. They are both about the same performance wise. The pug was more spritely at low revs, the clio definitely needed winding up more. I think the 1.4 is the one to go for. Avoid the 8v clio, I have to drive them at work sometimes :S
Exactly what happened to me with the A3, guy in a baseball cap with a m8 and I was 4 up. Easy pickings, he was well pissed off and did a really dodgey overtake after we were on one lane lol. It's good when they have a passenger cause they look twice as stupid :clown:
Hmmm not sure why that would happen suddenly, any speakers or anything near it? You might want to try degaussing it. See if you can borrow a degaussing wand from someone.
Do you have a loud exhaust etc? That probably attracts them.
Not really had many incidents since getting mine in november, I only recall an A3 and an Astra SRi having a go. My dad had a pollyfillered up 206 up his arse when he borrowed my car yesterday. I was dissapointed he didn't burn that...
I saw a black gold 182 today going through kilbowie roundabout sometime after 4 I think. Also saw what I think is a blue 182 on great western road shortly after, could have been a 172. Anyone here?
My advice would be sit it as soon as possible. You will start forgetting loads of it very quickly and the material changes not infrequently. I've been through the CCNA for my Bsc and the CCNP for my Pg/Dip, but not sat the final exams. I've left it a while and I'm now doing my MSc and working...
Everyone's probably bored to tears of pics of clean cars, so here's some more :clown: Thought I'd take the chance with this summer like weather to give it the full bhuna.
Washed (autoglymn shampoo)
Dried
Tarmac removal all round (autoglym tar mac remover)
Alloys cleaned (aytoglym clean wheels)...
I'm going to go for a decat and a matched inlet manifold on mine at some point. As far as I can see it's the best value mod on these cars. BBPT will soon have a decat out that won't bring the emissions light on.
lol well at least I'm not alone ^^
I notice there's a lot of black sooty stuff in the inside of the exhaust that wasn't there before. I guess a side effect of doing 17mpg ^^
Sounds like good advice. They had cones out to show turn in, apex and exit. I just wasn't concentrating properly.
The trackday school was £90 or £99 I think. I found it ideal for me as I have no track experience. We got an initial talk, a number of laps in an intructor driven leon cupra R to...
