Same company seems to be selling them cheaper on ebay. Looks like a good laugh, you got me thinking of one. Could be good for drunken bbqs in the summer. Or maybe not.
The topgear Mk4 R32 time was pretty similar to the Clio. However the Mk5 was much much quicker round the track although it doesn't appear on the website. VW have made some serious improvements it seems. I'm pretty sure either would smoke you good in a straight line.
My 182 does this at motorway speeds as well. My 1.2 doesn't though? Driver's side wingmirror also makes a whistling noise due to a hole on the underside.
I think it's fair to say neds eat at mcdonalds, but they don't necesarily work there. After all, a proper ned would much prefer being on benefits. "gee us a f*ckin' big mac wae chips ya bawbag!"
I was driving down a dual carriage way this evening, was stopped at some pedestrian lights. A couple of neds pull up in a corsa, baseball caps, loud exhaust, sparco racing seats. The driver was so low at first I didn't see him, thought it was a left hand drive import. I was expecting the worst...
You could always just log into their router and see what it's logging lol. It's usually the first or last address on the subnet, type it into IE and see if you get a login. It will most likely be default so you can look it up*
* not that I would advocate such actions
I was sitting at the lights one night with 3 mates in the car. A young guy with baseball cap in a 1.9tdi A3 pulls up quiet abruptly. I'd just got my 182 and I didn't know how to drive it properly or what it could really do. We both kaned it off the lights and I really screwed up my 1st to 2nd...
I use both everyday and RDP is definitely a lot faster. With RDP you can also map drives, printers, ports and even sounds back to the client. And it will let you tweak the visual effects (wallpaper, animations etc).
I still use VNC as it will run on just about anything which is handy. A...
Just bought a 24 port netgear switch for work from misco (£115). They have a promotion on where you get a free network attached storage device with that switch. The freebie costs £70 to buy on it's own. Faxed the invoice off on Friday to claim it and it arrived today! Looks nice, a bit like a...
Thanks guys :) I'm a car wash newbie, who would have thought it was so complicated?
Are brushes bad? I can understand a sponge could trap grit between it and the paintwork causing scratches. The brush is very very soft and can hold a lot of water so I'm thinking it shouldn't cause damage? It...
Gave my cup a good waxing this weekend.....
Bloody hard work, took ages! Washed it with a halfords car wash brush to start. Nice bit of gear, big head with soft bristles and long handle, definitely a time saver. Next I went over it with autoglym tar mac remover, good but I suspect it's just...
Have a look at this piccy

Click the little down arrow next to inbox, that should list all of the folders. Maybe it's going to another set of folders somewhere??
Renault took my registration and pulled my car up on their screen. I double checked that the guy knew it was an RS. He said, "yes, that's a 182?". Then he was telling me the servicing intervals depend on what year the engine was made  Pleasant enough chap but not a clue it seems!
I bought a pre reg 182 in November, which had originally had been registered in March 05. I was told that the 1st service is at 12k or 1 year. Today I took it down to the dealer for it's 1 year service, although the car only has 3700 miles on the clock. They told me that they can't authorise a...
I phoned the dealer and they got a set of the £18 jobs in the next day, they look just the ticket.
I emailed carmats4u and got a phone call back from some woman with poor customer service skills (I think is the polite way of putting it). She was trying to tell me that it was my fault and I had...
Your temps arent that great but shouldn't be causing these problems. Random resets can be caused by a variety of things, cpu, motherboard, memory and even power supply. If you haven't changed anything and it's started recently, then it could be that one of the components is failing. Run a...
You shouldn't be paying 24.99 for 1Mb....isn't it 17.99 or something now? I'm on 10Mb and I find it quite good, although their customer service is crap when I have to phone them. Otherwise it's been faultless for 4 or 5 years I've had broadband from them. As for the caps.....I've been...
Yes your PC will upscale the image to whatever res you have set your monitor at. What you probably want is a better deinterlacer/decoder. You can check out dscaler (free, not finished but seems quite good), the Nvidia purevideo or ATI decoders. PowerDVD/WinDVD also do a reasonable job.
Most...
Usually you can use a DVI-HDMI cable to connect the PC (probably best keeping it all digital). You can download some demo material from alt.binaries.hdtv to play on your PC.
There was some discussion as to whether or not the 360 could playback HD media files, I'm not sure if it has been done...
Probably one of the updates has created an asp.net user. I just deleted this account, no problems. Or you could go to start->run and type "control userpasswords2". Untick users must enter a password and you will be prompted for a default login.
I would run a hardware firewall, nod32 for antivirus and MS antispyware. I generally avoid norton/mcafee as they do slow things down (check your task manager, you probably have 10 billion mcafee processes).
Have you considered a home theatre projector? I bought one last year and I'm not sure I could live without it now!
You might want to look at http://www.ivojo.co.uk/, I got a good deal and good service from them.
