Found this one on the PC but you can't tell much, you'll have to take my word they are better. As for fitting, Dave from Ktec did them, maybe worht speaking to him, they do require some wiring. but I paid around £80 for him to fit them so up to you if you fancy having a go first!!
V1nny, believe they are H7 and H4.
They are slightly brighter, because they do not have the frosted relecter/lens of the standard headlights. The ligth does appear angled though and although it's good for illuminating signs etc it's not always exactly where you want it. Mine have been...
Good choice, they look great. Just get some Silverviosion for the indicators and the Ice blue performace bulbs from Halfrauds. As mention HID conv would melt the lenses!!
Cheers will do tomorrow morning. Bloody car! it's my own fault, the washing machine broke last week and we got a washer dryer. £450 in Argos and I got it new for £270. I was quite happy, but knew deep down the powers that be would make me regret it and now the cars broken! I bet if it isn't a...
 Right, headlight bulb went on Thursday and I went to halfords for a new pne and to get it fitted. its the one on the drivers side and with the air con makes it so hard to get to, also with the Angle eyes there is more wiring in the way. Anyway they refused to fit it, but my managers...
Got a bargain insurance deal in the end.
£393.75 with all mods declared, plus the next mod planning to do already covered. This also includes 3rd party driving of any other vehicle, NCB protection, and legal cover. Also happier to be back with Tesco rather than highway.
I paid for there...
Cheers, did go on there but they don't do modded cars via email quotes. don't have time to phone at the moment. Did ask a friend at a brokers and he said that insurance companies didn't believe that I didn't get a power increase from my exhaust and induction kit. I explained that the exhaust has...
I was with Tesco and they weren't too bad with mods TBH. ie for the angel eyes they only charged £15 admin for new pol doc. I declared the cat back exhaust, alloys, induction kit etc and it didn't go up too much. better than not declaring and having an accident and your insurance being void.
Yeah Flux seem good, but its Highway that aren't. They do have a couple of stupid t&c's like you have to have a cat 2 thatcham imobiliser, which you must prove was working at the time of any theft. How can you prove that???? lso don't like that the quote is £445 but the excess is £550.
With Highway at the moment through Adrian Flux. Insurance quote was £445 for my renewel.
After soem of the postings on here I'm thinking about finding a different company due to problems if you ever have to claim. Flux got me a quote with Equity Red Star for £445 (same as flux). Has any one...
Driving home the other day and when I went to lift the window (electric) I heard a loud bang/shatter noise and the window stopped coming up. Lifted it up by hand and was ok for a bit.
Took it to my mechanic and he said it needed a new mechanism and runner. This was £135!! Asked what happened...
i was thinking of getting a strut brace if it will make a marked improvement in lessening the amount of body roll round corners.
has anyone on here got one and do you notice the difference?
Cheers
Sorry, do we live in Cape Town???
The central locking that kicks in when you go over 5 mph would help, if not take the keys out of the ignition and through them out of the car!!!
Totally Agree!!! Why not have the doors wide open and a come and take my car for free sign too!!!
I'm with Flux and they are fine, told them about my mods, have kept them informed of future plans and for the majority of work they say the premium will not increase. Itss up for renewel in...
Just seen this, not sure why the exhausts are different sizes and the spoiler is wonky. But still would look ok with some money spent.
