Do you mean you can wiggly the strut on its bolts, struts shouldn't move on there bolts but they do have a bit of movement in them as a whole.

Get tracking done to eliminate that. If that's not sorted it out Get under it and see if any thing looks different then the other side.

See if the noise changes when weight shifts, like when taking a right hand bend / left hand bend.

If you hit a curb your pre-tensioner might have fired. New seat belt but remember they have a weighted cog thing that can only turn when its bolted in.
