The standard exhaust was not for discrete look. it was because of the diffuser. sticky out pipes would effect the way it works! if it does work that is :S
there was a 172 cup on x factor tonight on ITV2. it was parked outside one of the finalists house. It was metallic blue. Sad watchin it i know!!! sod all else on.
No i meant they leak boost past the diaphragm. good quality ones dont do this as they use a piston system. shouldnt be an issue on this turbo conversion tho as its running very little pressure.
No good point but its nice to have it! even tho it does almost nothing. i love the throttle bodies idea. miles better than turbos but it the bombsite under the bonnet after the work is done i cant stand!!! imo of course.
I agree. couldnt live without a/c. people must be mad gettin rid of it if its their everyday car. havin itb's ruins all the front of the car if you ask me. everything gets annhilated under the bonnet!!!
By the looks of things it would be a piece of cake to fit if you have any mechanical knowledge. its all bolt on. easy i reckon! youve got no pistons, rods, head off or anything like that.
Probably. i know mine was absolutely empty cos when i picked it up i desperately needed fuel!
The coilovers were lighter too so that saved a bit of weight
I agree. the trophy is more sought after but i wouldnt go and swap my 182 cup for one. i was offered one before i bought mine. I knew i was goin to put miles on the car and use it everyday which is why i didint get a trophy. They will only really hold there money if you really keep the mileage...
They dont do much with streetwires anymore. but yes your right. they have swapped streetwires for all the jl audio range of cables and fuse holders etc. awesome stuff. we stock everything JL do!
AST make rear coilovers and i have them on test at the mo. Excellent so far and are the only ones available. unless you want cup racer ones but i wouldnt for the road!!!
Couldnt agree more. If your goin to do the batt then dont forget the alternator!!!
Power caps are only anygood if you havedimming head lights or a really cheap amp. being in the car audio audio business i have seen it proved that they are a waste of money if you have a decent amp. Xenons cure...
They werent lieing. great and relatively cheap track tyre and yes will knock down lap times. need to be more awake driving on them tho when they are up to temp there is so much more grip. no forgive in them. excellent tho. miles better than road tyres!
True yes but you get what you pay for. if your after a top quality caliper that wont give you the twisting or expanding problem and can get a lovely solid pedal feel then ap is the only way to go. their not that expensive. you can get a pair of 4 pot calipers for about 500 quid.
Willwoods calipers twist under pressure. same as hi spec etc. APs are about the only ones that dont. you may find they do rub for that reason. youll also never get a completely solid pedal! ap is the only way forward.
I fit high end car audio for a living and i could quite easily solve your hifi problem!!!! id say it was a bad earth or more likely the equipment. make sure you drill a hole in the cars body, clean the paint off and screw or nut and bolt the earth cable to the body! if that doesnt solve it i bet...
