my sister has just traded her saxo 1.1 in for a m reg clio 16v in metallic black, got full leather, fsh etc etc good condition, has some sports exhaust system on it and a green filter which will be removed, i love it really need to find a williams now :D
as said above they will de mist if u leave the headlights on a few mins, there not sealed units so they are all like that, no u wont get them under warrenty sorry :)
phone renault maidenhead up, tell them the situation, the work should be under warrenty anyway if the part has failed, tell them u need a loan car to get to work etc, ask them wat u need to take like license etc cant help u with loss of earnings etc though at the end of the day u need it fixing...
tbh i dont know why u are all bickering over these cars they are all brilliant cars, i would love to own one but cant afford them, u could always swap with my mk1 vtr;), doubt u will be bothered then lol its slow it rattles, it creaks, it breaks down all the time, and theres millions of them lol...
lol, btw wat would u recomend for a williams? either a k-tec racing exhaust system (quiet) k3 pipe or magnex system? wats best for sound n power increase, with a k-tec decat btw?
tbh i dont see how it can affect it really but it depends on wat the garage says really, the warrenty work is done via a computer and it will say wether its 100%reno etc , but if they say its because its lowered then they might turn u down basicly, as i said touch n go
weve done a few 172s which were modded under warrenty and nothing was said, but it depends if they fault is linked to the mods they could say no or could just fix it, touch n go
all we do is remove the roof lining seal and tighten all the 10mm bolts up properly, theres 2 t20 bolts which need tightening up to and grease the front hinges , also on the handle there is a bar which rests on a little pad we fit a rubber tube seal on that bar , weve not had one come back after...
would it be ok to do it step by step? ie after breathing mods get just the headwork/piston rings etc without cams n pulleys, will there still be a good increase in power/torque
it depends tbh the ones ive had to fit so far , everytime ive stuck the ball in they have popped out again not to long after! besides its a 15min job to fit a new unit if the tech knows wat hes doing!
its a very easy job to remove the bumper and it shouldnt get damaged or marked at all mate, u dont get the washer ball seperate they come as a unit which is better to fit then just the ball, u dont actually need to remove the whole bumper just the corner its dead easy job, besides u will get a...
yes it should be under warrenty, ive u want to try fix it yourself i can tell u how to get rid of most noises if its a manual roof:) its a 15min job if the handle dont need replacing!
