when installing quicktime, you need to go into custom setup, then select everything, i think the main one u definately need ticked is "Quicktime for Java" Installing wise, i just install cd1 first, then cd2.

yea going the volvo route, i would use a diff box altogether, like a 16v/willy box, but thats more money, and im trying to keep costs down. Dials are pretty cheap, and aslong as they show the speed, then im happy :) atleast with the electronic sensor, i can develop a digital solution in the end

been reading up on electronic speedo sensors, and there is a standard for the signals. only one way to find out lol

not too worried about the wiring side of it, just means getting the trusty soldering iron and crimper out. althou it would be nice if they just fit straight onto the connectors :D

Am doing an engine conversion at the moment, Not a GTT conversion... but the gearbox sensor is electronic, this is why i need to use a set of GTT dials. Just wondering if they fit straight in, and sit right. Will i need to do any extra wiring to get other things to work. If anyones...

you can just change the runners/frames from your original 5 door seats onto the valver seats. Thats how i fitted my ren 19 16v leather seats into mine

any lift reverse gear knob will fit :) atleast thats the story on the mk1s

agree with the above comments. Shouldve checked with the insurance company first. I was lucky when i first insured my car, i declared every single mod to be done to it in the coming months, and it didnt cost me a penny. Its all good and well when you say you can drive around with mods...
