for 150 quid, theres got to be some things wrong with it, especially on an M reg plate.

Engine mod wise, check with your insurance company to see who will insure u for what mods, otherwise youll...
youll be lucky, i struggled to find someone to insure me with my clio which will be having its engine converted. ended up staying with liverpool victoria because im an existing customer.

when installing quicktime, you need to go into custom setup, then select everything, i think the main one u definately need ticked is "Quicktime for Java"

yea going the volvo route, i would use a diff box altogether, like a 16v/willy box, but thats more money, and im trying to keep costs down.
Dials are pretty cheap, and aslong as they show the speed, then im happy :) atleast with the electronic sensor, i can develop a digital solution in the end

not too worried about the wiring side of it, just means getting the trusty soldering iron and crimper out.

Am doing an engine conversion at the moment, Not a GTT conversion...
but the gearbox sensor is electronic, this is why i need to use a set of GTT dials.
Just wondering if they fit straight in, and sit right.
Will i need to do any extra wiring to get other things to work.

I was lucky when i first insured my car, i declared every single mod to be done to it in the coming months, and it didnt cost me a penny.
Its all good and well when you say you can drive around with mods...
