This is interesting stuff
Nick, how many grooves are in yours?
Both sets of discs i have bought this week have instuctions with them to be fitted forward slash ways.
Not really sure what to do now as Im very confused as to which is the right way
Yes the Discs are left and right, All grooved discs are arnt they? I have Pagid 16 groove for the back and combi discs for the front,
is the right hand side the drivers side, because depending on which way you look at the car, it could be either
so what is the correct way for these to be...
Ok this is a question that many people probably wander to them selves, but which way round do they go???
Ok let me explain!!!!
Suppose your changing the front disc on the drivers side of the car, you put your new grooved disc on and stand back to look at it!!!
Now!! does the groove(s) at...
On some cars they look fantastic, especially Jap motors like the civic type R or an evo 5 or 6
Also they always seem to look excellent on yellow motors
Seen quite a few clios with these lights at Donny motorshow,
think they look ok on the williams but only if the reflective strip on the bottom of the boot is sprayed the same body colour
only my opinion
Does the engine always start first time?
Go to renault turbo owners club website and ask the turbo wizard, thats what he is there for, if anyone knows the problem he will, its a bit pointless asking us lot who own a clio, as none of us apart from a select few have a gt turbo engine to play with
LOL, ok cheers mate
Dont really think 4 pots are needed on such a light car, and cant really afford that at the moment, probably go for the big Disc kit or some g88s and try these pagid pads that everyone seems to be raving about
Not sure really Ben, to be fair i think its my discs that are at fault but Im not really happy with the amount of dust the mintex pads produce
also i have to press the pedal nearly halfway down before i feel anything happen which is quite crap
so new discs will be ordered this week me...
I have standard discs and mintex 1144 pads and they are utterly sh*te
Although to be honest i think the discs are a bit worn dont know what difference new discs would make
An ajustable timing sensor is located on top of the flywheel, it enables you to r****d the firing spark, enabling you to increase the boost above standard, before pinking occurs, also you have to have this if you want to use just standard unleaded petrol
website is...
PaulRobo, you will love the big disks on ya car as i had them on my Raider, got them from Rally Design and were well cheap compared to K-tecs kit
Ps have you got an ajustable timing sensor?
No was just looking on andy spares website and they have an uprated gt tubo clutch kit one is sachs and ones Luk both 65 + vat, think one of these clutches is what K-tec uses for their Group N clutch
just not sure which one???
Bump
Thats quite interesting actually, how long did it take ya mate, did think about doing it myself aswell but looking through the old haynes manual, it seems to look quite complecated, saying that i suppose half the things that it tells you to remove probably isnt necessary???
The clio looks far better from the rear, the lexus lights really suit the paintwork and the roll cage is totally gorgeous
but me agrees! shame about the rear spoiler
