Where did he get those hideous seats from? looks like he got them out of an old escort from a scappy and put some motorworld seat covers on
The standard willy seats are probably more comfy than most sofas ive sat on
Would a chipped williams be able to cross the 1/4 mile line in third gear then?
Because i have to change into 4th just before i cross the line which in turn probably loses me about 1/2 a second?
Personally I think the best option for maximum cold air flow is just to keep the standard airbox with a performance panel filter.
Even better is to do exactly what ive done, remove the passenger side fog light and rig up a scoop in its place with a pipe that connects from that on to the bottom...
just fold the pipe in half at the end and fasten a cable tie around it, then just slide the tie off when your new filter is in place and connect the cable back up
Yeah I had the rally design 285mm kit on my gt turbo behind 15" wheels, but the willy alloy sticks out on the inside of the rim inline with the caliper and just doesnt look to have enough room if i was to move the standard calipers out with the provided brackets
Best moment....
christening the drivers seat with the girlfriend and then her getting her foot stuck in my momo steering wheel!! he he!!
no seriously, getting pulled doing 103mph on Ripon bypass by a local copper, and he let me off because my dad lets him shoot rabbits on our fields!!!
has anyone got big brakes on a williams, and still got the standard alloys on? just wandered if 285mm discs will go behind the standard speedline alloy without having to gring half an inch off the caliper?
cheers
Jim
Yeah I really used to like reading fast car magazine until they started using that utter crap F.U.K slogan in every single sentence of every single feature
what were they thinking!?!?
Fast Car! R.I.P
I live in Harrogate, so If theres ever a meet being organised in the York area or you here of a cruise going on at Clifton Moor or owt then drop us a pm
Jim
I agree!
Probably *ALL* induction kits that are used on a 16v/willy that doesnt use a fully enclosed heatsheid are about as much use as a chocolate fire guard and 9 times out of ten you will not gain if not lose a few horses
I think a "Viper" on this engine would be money well spent!
Dont forget in real terms that you should account for your own weight thats in the car too
If ya want some faster times at the strip this year it could be worth while getting your arse down to the gym and losing a few kgs!;)
