yeah mate, tailgates urs on saturday if u want it mate.
Would prob be a complete engine. Not sure what to charge for mine but it is def a clean engine and runs great. Not many about with that miles. Should get another 70k out of it no probs
got some willy carpets and belts for my valver. Just wondering whats you need to do exactly to fit em. know you have to take the seats out etc. Is it really hard work to do? Puttin it off cos its looks a nightmare.
They dont use absolutely silly amounts. Just say every 500 miles just stick a drop in to get it back up to maximum. I always keep mine as close to max as possible.
You should know they burn oil if you look at the little sticker on the top right of the windscreen if you have an original...
I think they just do it sometimes mate. I had a new clutch and it does it still. Just make sure you push the pedal down as far as it will go. make sure the mats not under it either hehe.
Best thing to do is if you are just say reversing off the drive or whatever is to put it in reverse before...
If you think about it Ford replaced the fiesta turbo for the RS1800. twin cam 16v like a valver. Obviously was thr way forward ;).
Have a drive in one and see what you think. Make sure you check around the petrol cap and on the sills. take a bit of the carpet up to check for rot and crash...
NO offence but all turbos are unreliable if not looked after. Especially when they get old. had the boost cranked up too high etc. Fiestas don;t handle at all compared with a clio(mk3 fessys i mean) they never will handle as well. They aint that fast either. I do like a mint fessy turbo though...
yeah fine there mate. Have a gander at this. Looks like its not on the pedal right. Its clicked into place where it should be but is slack on the ratchet as you can see. the red line is the track of the cable. it goes into the bul head and it not snapped as you can pull it either way...
Some of u may have remembered me having a problem with my clutch pedal.
Well today it went down and it aint working the clutch now. The cable aint snapped I know that much. But it looks like the cable isn;t on the pedal right. U havent got a haynes or anything so dunno how it should be. I can...
Yes pal. will pay like. But aint a rich lad hehe. Will help someone fit it. I have a bit of mechanical knowledge. Just never swapped an engine before like.
