Just wonderin if anyone would fit me a 2 litre if I got one? Not got the tools or the expertise to do it myself and cant afford silly money to get one fitted.
Also would anyone be interested in a 16v engine with 69k on it that runs absoloutely spot on? Clean and serviced regular?
as long as the blug leads are clean onto the plugs it shouldn;t hurt. To proper clean it out take the rocker cover out completely to get inside and then you can just wipe it out no probs. Bit of a faff but if you wanna do a job its worth doing right...
Craig wheres these engines then?
I reckon your head would work well mate. It should be better than a willy one I would have thought.
Let me know about this other engine though.
Im thinking of fitting this set up in my car. Just not sure how I go about it. Do I just need the DVD and the screen or do I need other stuff. onviously the cables that come with them both i will have.
you won;t get nowt outta it mate. you have to have it checked or somethin every few years. if ur service book hasnt been stamped up for checks they aint liable.
On the phase 1s they are clear plastic behind. were on mine yeah. dunno what u can do really about gettin em blue. u might have to do as you say and shine the blue leds on the faces.
If u can get hold of some willy dials mate take em off and fit them onto yours if yours is a phase 1. The inside of the phase 1 dials is clear and the dials orange but willy dials are white and have orange plastic behind em to make em shine orange. Then just put blu bulbs in and your dials will...
Won;t work. the cold air you get from a feed at 30mph will be colder than if you had a fan. Onlt any good while you are not moving. Then there is no need for it anyway.
well i had a digital thermostat in the airbox i made and tested it against that and a K and N. the air was like 20 degrees cooler or somethin. For every 2 degrees temp drop the power gain should be like 1%. So therefore about 8bhp in theory. Little rough but I think it makes sense.
sure its not power steering fluid? if its the drivers side it probably is. It kinda likes to wee it out of that little hole in the top of the ca for some reason hehe. specially if u r runnin big rims.
