I paid £260 for mine fitted and that was a genuine renault one. It aint that bad a job if you know what you are doin. Most garages dont if they don;t know 16vs. They look in the book and it says 9-11 hours labour and thats how they work out the price. Id say £250-£300 is abotu right. It aint a...
IF not you get extremely hot areas on the manifold where it is not wrapped!
Looks good. Might get one just for the shear fact that it would be easier to get down the back of the engine as its a lot smaller hehe.
Looks a bit like a willy manifold dont it? would a willy one help on an F7p? as...
Thats true I think too. The engines gotta loosen up. Thats why older cars are so much faster ;) When they get over ten years old they get more mature hehe.
just live with it mate, they aint a particularily modern engine. not gonna be that quiet. Just ude 10w 40 oil and change every 3 -4 k. Mines always quiet apart from when cold at startup.
The quick tappin noise should just be there anyway mate. Its gotta tap a bit hehe, The injection makes a tickin noise doesnt it? It its a loud ticking and not that fast it will be your valves.

Anyone else noticed this? not a lot of difference...
I know what u mean mate, found that.
I think i may have sorted it. the cable was touchin the manifold slightly and melted two grooves in it. Ive moved my heat sheald down slightly and fitted the cable behind that out of the way. will see if it sorts it now!
I stripped all that out of mine. seemed f**kin loud and the exhaust was the main reason like you say. when u put it back in again though its seems liek you are drivin a merc or somethin lol. I prefer it in tbh. i like my car to be quite quite inside.
get a willy spoiler like me mate ;) u know u want to. Or ill be sayin mines bigger than yours hehe. Only an ickle bit though lol.
I dunno to be honest mate. I like yours but I know what u mean about having standard rims with it. Oh and it is a saxo style and you dont want anything associated...
