Not being funny but cant see any side skirts on that pic? or are there not meant to be? Or are you just asking for an opinion of iif it needs some. Looks fine without i think too. Unless they were perfectly contoured to the sills.
What you have to do it take the engine mount off on the drivers side and jack the engine up as high as possible to give you a bit more room. YOu really need to take the bonnet off and get as much stuff out of the way as possible. Not engine out, but kinda not far off hehe.
I have no idea to be honest. Seems to me it works like a normal polish except its blue instead of white. or whatever colour you have like. It comes off easy so i wouldnt say its abrasive. dont think it says on it that it is anyway. its good stuff i think. Only stuff that makes me think my car...
I dunno how much u are meant to use this stuff but i find white polish it sh*te as it gets dust everywhere and shows every little imperfection out on the paint and im picky about that hehe. Think that polish it about the best to use and any chips hardly show if u use that chip thibgm lost mine...
I dunno about the 220 gti but the 216Gti had 130bhp as standard and they aint slow at all really. I bet the 220 aint that much quicker though as I think the 216 was a honda engine and the 2 litre is probably a K tec lump which are a bit poo I think. Compared with honda engines anyway.
Rhys whats with the twin bulged bit ? I thought you had pulled a bird too mate hehe.
I have just had trouble speeding with the police. been lucky with my valver though. Used to have more trouble with my old yellow cinq. colour maybe? I must be stealth now in my blue valver hehe
hehe. I havent got that problem. The one I got was £14,99. bit the silver one. looks ok, has a backlight too but works off fag lighter so think ill run a power source from somewhere else as it has a light sensor so just comes on when dark. any idea where the best place to run power from? maybe...
I polished it today with that turtle wax color magic. think thats the best stuff to use as it hides and little scratches and chips. always looks good after i polish it with that.
Just stick it out mate. I have had bills in excess of a grand in the last 14 months since owning mine. Its an old car and hard to work on. Its handy if you know someone in the know about them. I would have saved loads if I knew people who worked on em when I first got mine. Its all labour...
Oh and Derv I bought Rhyss Hill power Kit. I have his home made top thing which isnt a bad idea actually but could do with another cold air feed fitting into the top. I was gonna try it out on mine the other day but my dog chewed up the one that Rhys made! Bloody dog! Think itll fix though hehe.
I got one of these on mine at the moment. I have also made a sealed unit too.
I ran my hill power one with the cold air feed at the bottom and also a cold air feed from the grille into the top. Not that big a feed but I tested with a digital thermometer the temp and with the top air feed the...
Just been trying a thermometer out from halfords. It has an inside temp and an outside one on a wire.
I fitted it first near to the unboxed induction kit. Let the engine get to temp then took the car for a steady drive of about 50mph. The temp was at like 39 degrees C pretty much the whole...
